It would be useless, people are obviously not taking context into account. So they will vote based on their own culture forgetting that this law was implemented in Korea because the netizens were vicious enough that cyberbullying became a serious issue there.

and I am sure the prison sentence will teach them how to be a normal human being. You think so ? To all the people calling out Jessica as "trying to send someone to jail", please.
Just because the maximum penalty is a jail sentence doesn't mean he'll get one. There's a very good chance he won't and Jessica probably knows that.
Only idiots / people who didn't read the OP properly would honestly believe Jessica took action with hopes of even the possibility of putting this guy behind bars.

1.5hours is not enough for me to put some one in jail. Yet you seem to want to convince me that it is.
That person is being a tard you are correct and Jessica has the right to charge him/her that does not mean i should agree with her nor you.
Yet you keep captain capslocking it up, these are forums get used to the fact that not every one has the same view point.

i guess you should reread the entire thing.....
7 years is the maximum sentence, chances are, he won't get the max sentence. is that clear? or do I need to use capslock AGAIN?
min sentence = warning + fine, kk?
Jessica is obviously not trying to just send this kid to prison for 7 years. She's just trying to teach this kid a lesson.
How's this even remotely wrong?

What's right and wrong is subjective.
What's legal and illegal, isn't.
Plus, people here are all grossly exaggerating the proportionality of the sentence by using the MAXIMUM sentence possible as a measure.

I'm getting really really really tired of Jessica and the endless drama she causes. She might be taking herself a bit too serious nowadays.
It's really quite simply. If you want to be a public figure and have your face on TV and the internet all the time, expect some haters. It's how the world works. It's part of the price you pay for being well-known. Either accept it and move on, or quit and go work in a shopping-mall or something :/

It doesn't take much for a case of controversial nature to yield surprising results in order to "set an example". Perhaps he will get gaol time (or a serious fine/suspension) just to scare others. It's happened before.

I can't believe how many people immediately go to the statement "woman is a drama queen get over it", "girls gonna be girls" , "Jessica is just emotional"argument. It's digusting.
Whether or not you agree with whether he should be sued or not, sexual harassment in NO WAY is acceptable. It's the same type of misconception as saying that girls who go to bars and wear short skirts get raped because they are asking for it. Sexual harassment happens because guys don't stand up against it.
Does he deserve to get sued. Of course he does. If you went around IRL and starting saying that to other people constantly you can be sued for stalking and harassment. The only reason its hard to do implement online is the logistical problems against it.
One day, if you ever have children of your own that are female/gay you'll understand what I'm talking about. Until then, women/gay people have to tolerate this community.
If you think that Destiny being stalked/harassed by Deezer/ CombatEx isn't ok and hurts the community then you absolutely shouldn't stand up for this type of Bullshit.
