Is origin bad or something? Care to elaborate on that? Origin as far as I have been able to poke around with is basically steam (I don't have any games on it yet), or is it that for multiplayer it's rather buggy...(also as far as I know you only need to be connected to use origin when you activate ME3 the first time and then can be 'offline' for the rest of the time).

It pretty much allowed Origin to scan your whole computer and send everything to EA so they can sell it to third party companies. Most of those issues seem to be taken care of now but based on my BF3 experience Origin is still pretty shitty because in BF3 they made no ingame lobby but instead you get forced to do everything through your web browser and there seem to be some weird bugs like headsets not working etc based on what some people posted here and in other threads.

You say steam like it is a good thing. I dont like steam and wont use it.

I haven't use Origin much and I've never been anal about TOS etc, but it just doesn't seem as streamlined as Steam is right now.

is all bad I can say about the demo. They improved controls (except that maybe too many things are binded on spacebar, but its usage is very intuitive), the single player seems on the line of ME2, and I enjoyed it very much, and multiplayer is very well done and challenging, except for the bugs. Using biotic powers is fucking awesome. However classes need balance: Asari adept is IMBA

For me I think it's part of its strength. It's fairly simplistic in design, it doesn't try to incorporate pvp or complicated scenarios. It's quick and it's fun. It's also pretty spot on with difficulty. Even bronze level will kill bads, and gold requires some pretty solid teamwork.

I downloaded Mass effect 1 a couple months ago (8 months?) and had a blast playing it... i must admit i hated and still hate the mako... it was fun.. for the first 20 planets... but i got caught with the story, the deepness of the characters, the relationships you can "build" with your crew, etc. all the decisions and the problems feel very human and i cant help to feel involved with the story. Downloaded Mass effect 2... yeah im a little bugglar i know it.. Awesome game.. the combat was so much more fun and it all felt more dynamic. i missed my old crew though but having joker around, tali and doc made things better for me.. omg i forgot about garrus!! Played the 2nd version with all the DLC so i was very happy to get to chat and develop a relationship with Liara as it was my ME1 love interest. (best DLC ever btw) Now... with ME3.. I guess i could download it, but i really like the multiplayer experience, and well ive payed for games like starcraft and some other one im too ashamed of saying them names :D I dont know about origin, but whatever it is, the issues i might come across while using it, the develops could fix it. Anyway, im totally going to make the effort and buy it just because i really like the series so far and its something i would like to have, like buying dvds of your favorite band or whatever. That said, i would love to get the first 2 games also, but for now ill have to be satiesfied with ME3 :D

It says ME3 servers are offline Pretty much everything bioware went down for a few hours but it all seems to be coming back online again now. Can't comment on ME3, but neither the bioware sites, nor ME2 were working for a long while either.
