Of course it was a big deal

about the riddler game.
The first question was something like:
Riddle Me This:
1 cup sugar 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup flour 1 tablespoons butter (A full stick for my good friend Oswald) 3 severed corpses
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
What am I?
So I just thought "well who gives a fuck" and swapped out the severed corpses for eggs, cause that kinda made sense.
And I just decided to bake the fucking thing, this is the end result:
It was okay, but a bit too sweet and sponge-like for my taste.

Yeah being able to discuss the Riddle was OP.

I figured you had decided to do it that way, that's why I had to get radfield lynched. I knew he was talia, but she's immune to my kills and can roleblock

I should note that I pulled it out after 25-ish minutes. Seemed ready by then.

I literally love you for actually baking that. I read that and said 'this doesn't bake anything without eggs.'

Huge thanks to BloodyC0bbler for hosting this game! You're such a baller!

If you hadn't gotten Radfield lynched, what was your plan the next day? Try again? Because I had intended to suggest Rad out Kurumi as Ras the next day, essentially confirming him as DT - lynching Rad was about to become impossible.

it is not cheating.
It is time for an announcement. The riddle game has begun, lucky contestants chosen to join the game have fun. It is now time to have a battle of wits with the Riddler. All who were included in the riddle game must play if they wish to be removed from it. Failure means death. No discussing in thread or in the zsasz QT if you happen to be in it and invited.
maybe the rules were wrong or poorly stated. But it explicitly says not IN THREAD or ZASZ QT. we did neither. So no cheating. The role was just off.

It is clearly against the spirit of the role though and you could have asked BC whether it is allowed.
|
Wait, I was under the impression we did clarify that it was okay

I believe we did:
Rad 02-09-2012 10:36 AM ET (US) Ah I just read this:

It doesn't actually say we can't discuss it here in our QT, but I'll double check for confirmation.
e: also, BC frequently read our topic, he surely would have intervented long before we figured out the Bloody Cobbler riddle.

It´s not expressly forbidden, that doesn´t mean it´s allowed. You should have checked with BC. Saying it´s his responsibility to stop you from cheating is low, he´s got enough to deal with in this game.

Like I said, I believe Rad did. Moreover, after we started discussing a bit BC posted this in the QT:
YulathPerson was signed in when posted 02-09-2012 01:18 PM ET (US) Why? I did not confirm a players role. I merely clarified on things you have already said in here. I don't want to see people discouraged on setup based reasons. It also isn't just helping you as both third parties have asked if they could be roleblocked and know they can be -_- As for the riddle stuff, before making generalized comments talk to the people within said game to find out what answers they have been given by me to figure out how the game works. The more questions asked the more information they receive
So I am really sure, that this was, in fact allowed. as you see, he even encouraged talking about it...

yes. I do find it odd. Like I already posted, designed like this, the Riddler is really anti-town.
But if the host of the game encourages you to discuss, wouldn't you? Or do you believe that this wasn't BC???
