So yesterday I went to a Vietnamese restaurant for lunch (Its 2:47 am here in New Zealand, thus I use the term yesterday, go me) usually I don't eat at Viet restaurants, no offence it's just that I keep going to Korean BBQ's and such.
*Ahem* Anyway, completely confused I didn't know what to order because I don't know what's what and "what that" in the menu. You look at the rice section, your confused. You look at the soup section, your confused. You look at the drinks, your confused (Whats Coke? Some sort of Viet beer?) What the heck is a Mapa? Is it good? If anyone has tried it before please tell me I'd love to try some more of this lovely cultural cuisine.
So what the heck, as a Ramen enthusiast I just peeked over on the noodle section and completely picked out a random choice of food.
Of course, I had no idea what I was going to expect so I guess you can call it kind of an interesting adventure.
And I got this beautiful looking piece of food :O NSFW? + Show Spoiler +
With a side of (Which was also nice) SFW? + Show Spoiler +
Holy shit, was that nice. I loved it, it was seriously delicious and I recommend you all to try this. But, I think i've been living under a rock since I feel like most of you already knew about this food. Even the smell was excellent. Finished the whole shabam, even the soup and it made me feel fat, heh I dont care it was worth it. Just looking at it again makes my mouth water.
It was so good, that I even made a worthless blog about it in my fav forum.
Anyway, whats your favorite dish to have for lunch? even though nothing will beat this bowl.

If you thought that was amazing, find yourself a vietnamese friend (or girlfriend even) and try their mother's home-cooked pho.

Vietnamese is so dope. I used to eat at this place down the road weekly. Alternating between pho and vermicelli. The best thing about vietnamese is it's always going to be basically $8.50 no matter where you go.

I had this in some little mafia village outside of palermo. straight from the ocean minutes before, freshly killed and served. Best thing ever.
I want pho now though.

I was going to post something about how Vietmanese girls are hot, and I've decided against it. Asian food discussion is too good of a subject to side track...
