No, this is not a blog talking about what games SC2 compete with, or what game is better etc.
Over the past few days, I have been playing less and less of Starcraft. I play 2-3 games a day, down from 5-6. Today I only played one game. Starcraft two is competing for my time with other things. Two of them happen to be books.
The first book is called Test of the Twins. It is the 3rd book of the series based in the world of Krynn. Two twins, Raistlin and Caramon, travel back to before the Cataclysm. Raistlin is a wizard who wants to defeat the Dark God, Takhisis. Caramon is sent back to stop him. Caramon and Raistlin travel with each other, while they are trying to accomplish different things.
The second book is Inheritance. Now, you might not recognize this name, but you should recognize the first book, Eragon. If you have never read this book, stop reading my blog and go read it. Now! The book is simply amazing. Eragon finds a dragon egg that hatches for him, and he becomes one of the last dragon riders. He is pitted against the only other dragon rider known, Galbatorix.
The next thing occupying my time is a TV show. this show just happens to be one of the best I have ever seen. Its called Jericho. I spent the past two days watching it, and I have never wanted to watch a show so bad. Ever.
Between all of these, I find only little time to play Starcraft. It really sucks because I am close to being promoted. I am actually playing against gold players now, and beating them!

SC2 is a hobby, not an angry girlfriend.
You're allowed other affairs!

I just feel so dirty not playing it as much. haha

Btw, i just got hooked up by Jericho ! Love Fallout , and post apocalyptic stuff, hope is as fun as it sounds, also 8,1/10 on imdb, so must be it!

Rudolph, you're a swell guy!

hahahaha
I've stopped playing SC2 altogether but I watch it alot (I've always been a watcher more than a player).
Currently playing Uncharted 3 on the PS3 after finishing 1 & 2 earlier.

Eh I never got super into Jericho. SC2 is always a constant struggle between rugby and reading and school and what not.

Dragonlance books are great! You should read more of them. What do you want to do more? If the books are currently more engaging than sc2, read the books. If you feel the dying need to improve and get promoted to gold, play more sc2. Your time is your own.
I don't know what these guys are saying, but sc2 is a lot like an angry girlfriend, she makes me lose when i don't pay enough attention to her =D

Hahaha! And I love Dragonlance books. These will be the last of the Hickman/Weis books that I have to read. Its really hard to decide what I want to do more though XD

It's been like 8 years since I read Test of the Twins. If you like Dragonlance, you should maybe read the Sword of Truth series. The TV series was garbage, so don't let that determine your opinion of it.

Yeah I recently read Inheritance, Its a pretty good read but as Usual, Christopher leaves just as many questions as he gives answers. :/

Eragon and Eldest were fun reads, last two weren't worth the paper they're printed on. I don't know what happened in between (probably leaving home for college) but Paolini got really sloppy and long winded.

I did not like Brisingr at all. It was way to predictable and it just wasn't good writing overall. My friend, who hates the series, loved the 4th book even though he said it was very predictable. I have high hopes though!
