Hello everyone!
I only have a little bit of time, but I felt I owed it to everyone to post how I've done and what has happened in the last month.
To start with, I've been quite sick for 3 or so weeks of this month. Was diagnosed with a bad sinus infection and ended up on a lot of medication including hydrocodone, which is some really strong stuff.
I've started up going to the gym and have went at least once a week, despite being sick. I started going to the gym at around 3:00 PM and just working out for a while then. Recently I've changed my gym time to 8:00 AM in the hopes that I'll enjoy getting up early for a workout and then I can just work (stream) the rest of the day afterwords. (Been some of the coldest days of the year for me to start going out at 7:30 AM!)
Well, thats a bunch of whats been going on with me. Since starting this diet I've went from being 100% on it, to 100% off it, on certain days. At the end I've done 3-4 days of being on it and 1-2 days of being off. (Milkshakes on those days for instance). However I geuss the important part is that I've still managed to lose 5 pounds over this month. I'm down from 315 pnds to 310 as of weighing myself this afternoon. I feel like my legs are stronger and that I have a much better cardio as well sence this.
So I geuss my point is, that even if you have times when you fall off your diet, if you just try your best you can lose weight none-the-less. Let me know how you've been doing in this one month time! And I'll keep working on it, and being not sick in this upcoming month is going to be exciting. Hopefully I'll be able to keep on the diet much more this month. Well, thats my update, and I'm happy to have started this. Hopefully to those of you who have as well, its been going well for you too!

Keep at it, Sheth! I did the same thing a few years ago and dropped about 80 pounds and I feel so much healthier. It's hard, but it's worth it in the end.

I have to wake up before school to workout at 6:00 AM 3 times a week for football so I know how you feel about the morning cold. This is inspiring stuff though, I can't wait for a "final update" when you accomplish your goal, apply the same work effort and passion you have to SC2 to this and you will be able to accomplish this no problem. One thing though, the lost 5 pounds may have just been due to water weight etc. One thing my brother taught me is to weight yourself after pooping (assuming you urinate at the same time) as you will be able to weight yourself in the same situation each time and track you progress in a better way.

Yay Sheth Keep it up

Awesome!! by the way I don't want advertise something here but what really can help for small exercise and a reminder and measurement of you weight and progress, you could use Wii fit. I've been playing the games trying to break my family's records. They are very small exercises but its fun and it starts to add up after a while (if you combine it with real exercise of course).

I've started mine as of New Year's Day. This first week has been agonising, but I am inspired and driven. Something clicked in my brain over Christmas. A lot of my unhappiness stems from the way I feel about myself, being overweight. I already feel more in control (no pun intended) and driven than I have in a long time. Haven't weighed in yet, but thanks Sheth and congrats. Keepin goin' big feller, we'll get there one day.

I hope you're feeling better and grats!
Started a weight loss competition among some friends so I've been pretty motivated to eat better and workout more.

Keep it up brother. I am trying to fit a gym membership into my time and budget right now in fact. I miss working out some, but life happens and things fall by the wayside. Keep up the good work and keep tearing up for the swarm!

Congrats on the good work, Sheth, we want you healthy and active (to play more games, of course) for years to come!

Good work Sheth! Both of us seem to be sticking to things (I, like you did slip up a few times but have mainly been keeping on track). I've only lost 2 pounds in the last month (stupid Christmas baking!!!) but I think I have gained some muscle (I've been lifting weights). Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, it will be slow but totally worth it when you are done. I've gone from 215 to 191 since August and I feel much better and that's only 24 pounds. I still have 16 to go, plus some muscle to build. It'll definitely be worth it.
