People need to man the fuck up or get the fuck off a major SC2 forum that is known for discussing the most recent SC2 news
Even though I agree with you in that people should not visit TL if they don't want to be spoiled, I completely disagree with your first point.
Knowing the results to last nights games would almost completely ruin the whole thing.

people do watch vods of sports , btw. they record it if they can't watch it. they put in THEIR OWN effort to avoid the spoiler, not to have people cover it up for them. considering its tl.net's rules that you arent allowed to spoiler recent results, yes, i expect the website not to have spoilers. i apologize for expecting people to follow the rules. Well this thread is not closed yet so it appears the mods do not share your sentiments. i didnt say this thread spoiled the results. just commenting on the people's thoughts that spoilers in general are appropriate.

MMA was #1 before the blizzup finals if i remember correctly.

Guys it is 'would have'. Not 'would of'. Ever.

Lol @ all the spoiler crybabies. If you don't want to be spoiled, either watch the game soon after it was held (if not live) or simply put, don't visit SC2 NEWS Websites. How pathetic.
As for the OP. Cool, so now the top sc2 players earn approx 1/4th of the top sc1 players's base salary (flash & co salaries were roughly 400k USD a year no?)
Still a long way to go but getting closer!

You've got the BW MarineKing, someone please fix it. It scared me T_T

well it's certainly a discussion point, i mean, this thread all you know is that MMA won, you don't know whether it was a 4-0 sweep or a really close 4-3 knife-edge series. But knowing the outcome doesn't spoil the adventure. I knew that anakin was going to turn to the dark side at the end of episode 3, but I still thought it was an acceptable movie....

People complaining about spoilers being against the commandments, so is having 8 pages of off-topic crying bullshit. Quit it. This thread is about MMA and his success.
|
MMA has grown up so much. I remember his early days in GSTL.
|
Thanks. you spoiled the results.
|
The only non-terrans are Nestea, FD, and MC. While Nestea and MC are pretty consistent FD has completely disappeared.
|
If you don't want to be spoiled, get out of the internet.Geesh.
|
It is nice to see this information, but www.sc2earnings.com provides results for all tournaments not just GSL which is more useful.

Flash earns $400k USD on a good year. That's including salary, prize money, and endorsements. As for "& co", if you mean Jaedong, Bisu and Stork then maybe, other Class A players, doubtful.

When someone PVR's a major sports game, they don't listen to the radio, watch tv, or go to most websites. Why is SC2 treated differently? Snape kills Dumbledore. And Dumbledore told him to do it.
|
I think people complain just for the sake of complaining.
If you are worried about the results of a major tournament being spoiled then why the hell are you browsing the forums of a website that covers competitive and professional Starcraft?
|
I can see Ryung becoming the Sith of the SlayerS team and MMA being a Jedi if this continues. MMA eventually starts his own team, Ryung his...and these two teams will battle it out for thousands of years until....

Whenever I want to catch up on games. I always make sure not to log on TL, Twitter, FB, or Reddit before I watch the VoDs. I don't understand how people can be THAT upset if they don't take those precautionary measures.
|
People who complain about spoilers don't go far enough out of their way to avoid spoilers. Unless it's the rare exception like Harry Potter, where people were walking out of stores the night the last book released shouting spoilers at the crowds, you need to take it upon yourself not to get spoiled. For the past 10 years I've had only 1 game spoiled for me BECAUSE I WENT TO THAT GAME'S OFFICIAL FORUMS, have only had SC games spoiled when I go to reddit/twitter/TL/ESFI. I've never had a TV show spoiled for me and I usually only start watching shows once they're either over or have 4+ seasons finished. On rare occasions I have a friend who is a dick yell a spoiler for a movie at me.
Point is, if you don't want to be spoiled, the burden is on YOU to avoid it, not the community. Didn't catch it live? Avoid SC news/community sites until you've seen it.

Same reason NesTea has more won then MVP. Open seasons had like double price pool.
