If i've deduced this correctly from the limited infomation available on Skyrim you are able to put perks in different skill trees. This is how you customise your character and make them specialize in certain roles. You gain one perk per level.

In these last unbearable days leeding up to Skyrims release i have been fleshing out builds for my character. When i create a character i start with a theme such as a viking or a warlock and i try to consider their morals and what type of gameplay would suit them. I didn't exactly go for what would be the most powerful or easy skill set to grind out the game because i enjoy the adversity and pros/cons each build encounters.
Please note that the perks i have listed are in no particular order and you most definatly wouldn't want to follow the order i have listed. Also these are for 50 perks since 50 is the soft level cap.
So without further ado;
Shadow Ranger

The shadow ranger deals damage by ambushing the enemy with deadly arrows coated in poison. If a fight becomes too personal the archer can use illusion magic to send the enemy cowering.
I chose alchemy in this build because poisons will deal massive damage as the enemy staggers towards you.
Also i dont expect to get hit so i decided not to get any armour perks. Because of this though armour will be cumbersome so i picked up the extra pockets perk to balance it out.

The assasin deals massive damage with deadly ambushes, enchanted weapons and masterful close combat to dish out vast amounts of damage as quickly as possible.
I chose enchanting in this build because you attack so fast with dual weilding that the enchants will constantly be activating from your weapons.

Chinese War General

The Chinese war general strikes fear into the heart of his enemies with powerful destructive magic and fierce bravery.
Basicaly he is a battle mage who uses fists for combat. I chose smithing because you can create armour which is doubled in effectivness from their defualt counter-parts. This will mean your punches from fists of steel will be doubled in effectivness.

The hero is a valiant modest adventurer with nothing to hide. A humble mortal but with great attributes such as will power, courage and respect he is willing to put his own life on the line to protect those that can’t defend themselves.
Basic sword and bord adventurer with light armour (link). I chose smithing because i thought it suited a humble apprentice as a profesion before his adventure had started.

The demigod summons two handed weapons and casts protective spells then dives into the heart of battle. He is intensely confident and is not afraid to take advantage of his charisma. Even though he may not always have others interests in mind he is still very respectful and loyal of the righteous law.
I chose speech because it suits a confident warrior who isnt afraid to take advantage of others without breaking the law.
I also want to mention that i would probably not wear a shirt gloves or shoes (unless they got great benefits) most of the time and with the mage armour perk i will benefit from not wearing armour. Also as a demigod i think its epic to have steel skin. Like hercules.

The far caster avoids taking damage while unleashing powerful and complex magic to turn battles in their favour.
I chose enchanting because it is the most magical "proffesion" and im personaly not a fan of using consumables to gain temporary boosts to your magick. I prefer the permanent boosts (while probably not as powerful) that enchanting offers.

The protector is an extremely passive fighter relying on reflecting damage, enchants and shield bashing to methodically beat down opponents.
Dual weilding shields.. I know this builds retarded lol but if theres a cheat to get max level ill give this build a shot. Would be fun killing like 10 enemies at once.

Thor was also know for his healing powers as well as thunder weilding, thats why all the restoration. I chose alteration as the defensive tree so you can wear a mix of light and heavy armour to mimic thors attire. Also the destruction dual casting is for epic finishers.

Witch Hunter

The witch hunter uses a combination of powerful spells, deadly arrows and lethal poisons to deal with enemies from a distance.
The standard opener with this build would be to dual cast a rune between you and the target, line up the enemy and unleash as many poison arrows as you can before they are in range.
