EPTThis week I found out that my 'bad' general manager at work (nobody likes her) is unfrotunately getting promoted, but the good news is my other manager (the one everyone likes
) is getting promoted and taking her over! How's that good? Well, the former head manager has been cutting everyone's hours so we could afford 'new equipment' we don't necessarily need at all.One of my co-workers have been having a hard time getting the hours he desperately needed, and to make it worse if this keeps up he might have to find a new job. He's a really good friend of mine and been working there for 6 years, and I really don't want to see him go. But with a new head manager stepping up who actually knows what to do, he might stay as he could potentially get the hours required to work and support himself again. I work at a Wendy's restaurant locally by the way
That was just a bit of what happened this week, but to make it better I got paid big for the extra hours my manager snuck in for me because I called a day off today. I was supposed to work 6 hours today but he gave me another 8 hours for yesterday, so fair enough. That's more money for my new computer I'm waiting to order in.
Oh another blunder this week, I somehow managed to get in like... 5 games with Husky during his fan game-a-thon or whatever and got into a video of his. What's even worse (or better), it was a 1v1 obs game and I was FIRST in the game with a pretty good zerg player "Powoo". Needless to say, I was so nervous I couldn't even tell where my fingers are and lost horribly
Though that didn't bring me down one bit, I was just excited and having a blast with some other cool guys. The video made me 'famous' ever since, and people from all over nowhere were saying hi on my videos and they said 'you were in Husky's video'. It's a good thing that only that part was mentioned, I wouldn't want them to think I played like that hahaOverall, it's not exactly the fame I got out of that video, but with Husky and Ahnaris actually casting my game (sorta), I got an idea of what I can improve on in my play. I wasn't playing right at all, my gateways are way too spread out, and my expo restricted reinforcements to stop harass. I actually played about 10 1v1s after that with the right attitude and the confidence to change up my style of play that I went 6-4. Some others from that 1v1 obs game even told me they would be glad to help me. So thanks Husky for helping me a little more.
That's not it though, today for some random reason, I got an e-mail saying I'm approved to make money off my videos on YouTube. This is great news, but also bad since my videos aren't in the best quality ever lol Now I have to continue making videos, but I have nothing to make videos of
I will see what I can do though. Either way, just wanted to share my week with everyone! Thanks again Husky and Ahnaris, and for my new 'fans' who said hi and smote me as the 'wood-toss' after that video.
