And Cele, i don't think we should dismiss it as simply nostalgia.. the last OSL and the final was amazing. I still go on iccup/fish and still feel the excitement of a win as much as ever. It's all still happening and there's even a massive new group of RTS viewers who might get curious and experience the game.

I totally agree with the OP I wish that I knew more about professional SCBW when I was playing it, so much epiczz that I missed.
I wish that I could have the same passion that the TL veterans have about BW, and it really saddens me that it is slowly coming to a close. I really enjoy watching it every time it is on. At least PL season is starting up soon going to be watching as much as I can :D :D

Personally, the only thing that saddens me more is that there are many members of TeamLiquid who never experienced the drama and entertainment that BW provided. This isn't because of an elitist sense of superiority but it always feels good to share something amazing with others who also have a passion for gaming. I made this video to remind BW veterans of the good old days of SCBW and fill them with nostalgia. At the same time I hope it also fills newer members of the community with curiosity which will lead them into the old BW VOD archives. Hope you enjoy!
May I ask why BW is coming to an end? I have never followed the BW scene but from my understanding, BW is still huge in Korea. As big as ever, almost as if SC2 doesn't even exist. Why this sudden ending?
