He's been a ladder monster for a while, it will be interesting to see how he does!
I'm holding out for Oz though, he's an exciting Protoss!

As long as Mvp only has to play terrans or zergs, he should be able to win it again

He's a genius in TvZ and especially TvT, but from the Oz series... you could tell he is afraid of the protoss late game. As I fan, I hope he works hard on that MU instead of just cheesing >.<.

And I'm really sick of Tasteosis now. I'm sorry, but Tasteless' constant parroting and his obvious ignorance strikes me as shocking when he is supposed to be following the SC2 scene full-time. He couldn't name a single other Terran other than MVP/MMA, he always mimics Artosis and just doesn't add anything interesting to the casting. And Artosis has the good old problem of being heavily biased, which is fine if you have someone to play that off of (eg MrBitter and Rotterdam with Zerg vs Protoss) but if your co-caster just agrees with everything you say it is bad. I'm sorry Tasteosis, you were great in the early Seasons, but you just don't work for me any more. Would you say they've...lost their pasion? Oh come on, don´t be stupid. People can not like Tastosis. I really hate when people give criticism to the casters and people act as if it was a joke. This ¨lust their passion!!11!!¨ thing is now moronic, is tastosis now untouchable because of this stupid joke? While I still like Tastosis one can´t deny that they (at least don´t show) don´t have much to say about the korean scene. compare it to the Coda A casters who before the match talk about the players, the metagame and stuff like that. Which is now rare with Tastosis. I still like Tastosis, but they are not perfect lol. Well you have to admit the code A casters got the better end of the deal. Not only do they cast earlier hours in korean time, but they also get the more entertaining games overall I feel. Well but tbh i feel the Code A guys overall know more about the scene in general. Artosis at least knows some of the newer players / strats outside of GSL . Tastless sadly most of the time doesn't contribute all that much of substance. I like Tasteless he's funny and has good chemestry wirth Artosis BUT he needs to work a big on his game knowledge , i mean it's his job .... Artosis doesn't know everything and makes plenty of mistakes it would be great if he could cover for that. so go to korea and do it. oh wait you can't? oh wait you don't want to? then sit tight and listen to tastosis
It's called a caster/commentator relationship s3rp, look it up
@cold-
People can criticize others all they want. That's why there's such a productive thing as feedback. Anyways we are paying for this so why can't we criticize them?

is that a g-unit reference hahaha

Tastosis are kinda starting to annoy me. Every single game that doesn't have nestea in it, they critisize the players too much. Especially tasteless, because its pretty obvious he doesn't even play starcraft. Artosis has good insights, but sometimes, they are just too condescending. What's even worse is that they are literrally afraid of critizising nestea like they would any other player, even if he plays horribly. If they could treat all of the players less harsh and stop worshiping nestea so much, they would be perfect.

artosis is the analyst, tasteless is the color commentator. it's hard not to like the guy, he's interesting and funny. analyzing caters to one crowd of viewers, and tasteless' personality/wit/humor keeps those who don't necessarily play sc2 at masters+ league entertained. try to look at it from a bigger point of view.

Mvp vs Oz finals IMO, with Mvp winning.
|
It's amazing how good Oz seems to have gotten. I remember seeing him in gstl (i think) and thinking he wasn't anything special.
|
FXO's lineup has improved a ton. Primarily in Leenock, GuMiho, and Oz. So crazy good now...
Still, MMA vs. Mvp finals.
|
I'm liking MMA's path to the finals. First round he gets MC, then he gets Nestea, then he gets the supposed best PvT'er in the world, followed by either Puzzle/Jakji and then presumably MVP. A true champion's path.

I'm only in Platinum at the moment, but Tasteless just isn't funny/witty enough to make up for his obvious lack of game knowledge. Just because people are in lower leagues doesn't mean they don't care about what is going on at all, and I'm willing to bet a number of Gold or lower players could cast a game without missing as many obvious things as Tasteosis.

Why is it that the Tastosis criticism has just started to erupt? I've been watching GSL for half a year now and I haven't seen many if any detractors to their casting until now.

There have always been people who don't love the casting of Tastosis. Lately people have been getting pissed off every time Nestea is in the studio though because Artosis goes full retard on the world.

Lately people have been getting pissed off every time Nestea is in the studio though because Artosis goes full retard on the world. the problem with Tastosis is they are to familiar with each other, and joking took supreme over analyzing the game, i remember watching Tasteless doing stuff with other casters or alone and he would actually make very good gameplay judgements, same goes with Artosis, he could analyze the game more.
I stopped wathing GSL half a year ago, because frankly their casting were subpar, it was mainly joking, memes and sporadical game judgements, i started to love what TB/apollo are doing, a specially Apollo, he would sometimes try to come up with a joke but second later he would comment ALL that he saw on screen and analyze it properly, while in GSL artosis would start a joke and miss half things that happened in the meantime(and the joke/chat would go on for 3 minutes), i cant treat them seriously if they continue to miss/ dont notice crucial game timings/events (slightly earlier pool than usual, later hatch, unusual timings, army movements and such). They were great at the begining but later they really ran out of steam. Sadly.

Lack of game knowledge? I can guarantee you Tasteless knows WAY more than you about starcraft lol. He'd be masters if he played semi-regularly. Tastosis don't have to commentate on every little thing, if you can already see what they've chosen to skip over, what's the issue?
