And I'm really sick of Tasteosis now. I'm sorry, but Tasteless' constant parroting and his obvious ignorance strikes me as shocking when he is supposed to be following the SC2 scene full-time. He couldn't name a single other Terran other than MVP/MMA, he always mimics Artosis and just doesn't add anything interesting to the casting. And Artosis has the good old problem of being heavily biased, which is fine if you have someone to play that off of (eg MrBitter and Rotterdam with Zerg vs Protoss) but if your co-caster just agrees with everything you say it is bad. I'm sorry Tasteosis, you were great in the early Seasons, but you just don't work for me any more. Would you say they've...lost their pasion?
That's another thing. All these jokes (Nestea = God, "lost your passion" etc) were funny before. They've run dry now. Either quit making jokes altogether and focus on the game or make up some new ones. Unoriginal repeats don't work for me.
Oh, and it's passion, not pasion.

Oh come on, don´t be stupid. People can not like Tastosis. I really hate when people give criticism to the casters and people act as if it was a joke. This ¨lust their passion!!11!!¨ thing is now moronic, is tastosis now untouchable because of this stupid joke?
While I still like Tastosis one can´t deny that they (at least don´t show) don´t have much to say about the korean scene. compare it to the Coda A casters who before the match talk about the players, the metagame and stuff like that. Which is now rare with Tastosis.
I still like Tastosis, but they are not perfect lol.

The funniest part is that Tastosis always says we need to be more critical of casters. Meanwhile they have been getting worse rather than improving over the past few seasons.
I'd rather listen to kellymilkies these days because at least she'd provide some game related analysis rather going on about things that have nothing to do with the players or games 90% of the time

LRs aren't linked properly
Also guys, Tasteless has NEVER been a good caster really, if you've heard him cast. He adds no analysis, and often when he tries to explain things, he extrapolates on his BW knowledge that often is not directly comparable to SC2. His commentary kills me. Just the other day he said "this player took the gold, which actually provides double the amount of minerals as blue patches, so expect his income to skyrocket."
WTF. There are just SO many wrong things he says, it ruins it for me. I've never liked Tasteless' casting, even since GSL season 1.
Whoever Day9 casted with 2 MLG's ago was the best combo I've heard, I don't remember who it was, maybe Husky. I'm bad with knowing their names.

Aww yeah sC! I knew he would do well, though I thought he would get first.
|
Can we please talk about the games rather then the casting? I never understood this obsession with casters that the SC2 community seems to have. I guess this is where the casters are failing most!

Oh man MC choked so hard in those games He almost lost to Ganzi too. Idk why he hate colossus so bad man, why not mix them together like other Protoss. Gateway units are terrible and going HTs is wayyy too risky. His opening is risky as hell too.

Ugh I just watched MC and SC, was painful to watch. T_T
MC finally got upgrades in a PvT and I was so happy but 1 EMP on those templars and the game was over. ><"

His Game against Puzzle was pretty strange. Daybreak is a bit Toss favored ( not nearly as bad as Calm before the Storm ) but his build was just strange. Superfast Stim/CS Marines with Medivacs but couldn't do anything with it and got behind because of it .

It seems like balance patches do nothing to stop Terran dominance, but simply switch P and Z around in their respective matchups. Either that, or I'm completely dumb (the second one).

I think small sample size is what influenced these results, rather than anything to do with the patch. The patch was minuscule - the evolution of the game and the maps will have a far greater importance.

Ya the K[9] combo of Husky and Day9 was incredible, I really think they are the best casting duo at this moment

Please don't put the name of the players in the "recommended games" polls. It spoils the results from the previous sets when someone sees who played in the 3rd, 4th, 5th set etc.

The season started with alot more Terran then Toss/Zerg so of course you'll see more Terran in the later stages especially the best of them. Jjakji is the only one that kinda lucked himself into the Ro8 .

i'm so happy sC is back, he was one of my favorite players then he fell to code A x.x

Just wanted to say that this was an absolute blast to do! I know I bitched and whined but holy shit, this LR thing is so much fun!!
Thank you to all the guys who helped me out in the beginning. Thank you to everyone who posted their support for me.
I hope you guys enjoy this thread as much as I have.
I'm also planning on doing more of these in the future now that I see how fun they are. (lol, I'm insane)
-SEEKER OUT~! Thanks for the Thread, but you need to link the LR's of the games to the Posts, not to the Openingpost :D
OOPS!!
Error fixed guys!

Damn I fell asleep before the second group. Glad MVP made it through no surprise there. Thought Gumiho would make it through too. He seems to be the guy who never meets expectations. When you don't notice him he goes around beating gosus like Bomber, DRG and Nestea. When you expect him to do well he loses to people like Jjakji. :/
