Obviously there will still be more T because there were a lot of Terrans in Code S previously, but if things go well in Code A I can see next season being much more balanced racewise. We will see. But overall I am glad that so many Terrans dropped down to Code A. Hopefully Z and P do well in code A so the massive whinning can stop. I am sad for Coca though Glad that Puzzle made it, too bad that of the 3 Zerg remaining one had to do stupid crap and had to forfeit his spot. But oh well there are a lot of Zegrs in Code A so next season might have a lot of them. Now if only Gom made the group stages BOX series. The BO1 format hurts me :´( I'm really happy that the races ended up balancing out a bit more, but do keep in mind when you have brackets that have 3 or 4 Terrans in it, some of them necessarily have to drop- not just because they're bad. Zerg seems to have a terribly poor retention rate this season, unfortunately.

didn't realize there were two group stages now, one for ro32 and ro16, it's pretty cool this way Well, FUCK THAT Is this just terran and protoss now? Fuck, if only MC made it through, godamn it! He could have done well he might have gotten to finals, beating jjakji then MMA (or Oz? MC's PvP idk if it's good again or not) and then possibly beat MVP or he would have possibly beaten MVP in Ro8, that would have been epic, though I bet Leenock would beat him since MC's PvZ looks so outdated xD

GSL Aug Polt, Keen, TOP, Genius, MVP, Huk, Ryung, July GSL Oct MVP, Nestea, Ganzi, SuperNoVa, Clide, MMA, Happy, Coca GSL Nov MMA, Oz, Leenock, Alive, SC, Puzzle, MVP, JJakji MVP (3), MMA (2),Everyone else (1) Just shows how random and volatile the groups stage are and how skill levels are actually very close between the players and anyone can beat anyone else on a given day (especially in Bo1). Of course, unless you are MVP or MMA...

Then he went to code S and couldn't perform for a long while. Glad that hes finally getting his chance to showcase his skills.

Yeah of course, I didn´t say the T that got dropped out were bad(That would be such a dissservice to them) but at least with this we will probably(and hopefully) more rotation and diversity race and playerwise.

There's only a handful of Map in the Pool where Mech isn't extremely bad/fragile chance is pretty low . It def. won't go into a long game if tanks are build.

Group C: Puzzle and sC clearly deserved their spots, MC still isn't good enough and Ganzi seemed to struggle. D: MVP is MVP and should at this point probably just be seeded into the finals. Gumiho/Jjakji is a toss-up but doesn't matter much seeing how based on their play today neither has a shot making it past a good player.

Yeah Artosis, like if MVP has not destroyed NesTea in past GSLs and Blizzcon. Will you ever get past your blind fanboyism? o.0

Especially with the new format, since the old format was very insular allowed so many early Terrans to cling on to Code S status

And I'm really sick of Tasteosis now. I'm sorry, but Tasteless' constant parroting and his obvious ignorance strikes me as shocking when he is supposed to be following the SC2 scene full-time. He couldn't name a single other Terran other than MVP/MMA, he always mimics Artosis and just doesn't add anything interesting to the casting. And Artosis has the good old problem of being heavily biased, which is fine if you have someone to play that off of (eg MrBitter and Rotterdam with Zerg vs Protoss) but if your co-caster just agrees with everything you say it is bad. I'm sorry Tasteosis, you were great in the early Seasons, but you just don't work for me any more.

Last time I heard the top was still pretty Terran heavy. Did that change?
