also, what have u done to get into such ivy league colleges? btw, i am a junior and i will be taking SAT this May. do u have any advice for improving SAT score? there is this question i've always been wondering, do u ever leave any question blank on SAT? ever? or do u get rid of at least one of the choices and choose either ones? not that i have ability to get into ivy league colleges like you have, but i want to at least get into decent colleges with confidence for example: Rutgers University in NJ >< i won't be able to attend any college outer state cause it's too expensive. my parents will have to work their asses off for two of my sister's college tuitions and mine T_T thanks

Smile, My stats for everything is here: http://www.prstats.com/display.php?user=Klogon I recommend looking through prstats.com in the class of 2010 (my year) and 2009 to see which type of students get rejected / accepted to certain schools -- it really puts things into perspective. My SATs were fairly weak to apply to the top 5 schools, but I did anyway. But to study for the SAT, the best thing to do is run through practice questions from the "Blue Book" from Collegeboard. It's called "The Official Guide to the SAT" or something. The other test prep companies like Kaplan and Princeton Review can offer you good advice on stratagies, but for practice sets, don't use anythign else other than the ones from Collegeboard. Also, yeah, if you can eliminate one answer for sure, take a guess as you are statistically favored to win. I never left one blank because I could always eliminate one or more and I could pace myself. I also tell all my junior friends this: take the ACT. Seriously, if I can do it over again, I would study my ass off for the ACT instead of the SAT -- with just a few more hours, I think I could have scored a 33-34 on ACT (got 31 with a cursory 2 hour study the night before, seeing test for first time -- my main problem was pacing myself on reading and science; M-35, E-33, R-29, S-28) SAT dicussion that is highly recommended read: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=68210 For more college discussion, I highly recommend these forums: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/index.php?

I'm pretty scared about my chances now and I'll probably have to wait until early May until I find some resolution..
