We are fully aware our internet is shit compared to a lot of other places, we are the one's using it after all.

Keep an eye on RotterdaM's twitter: twitter.com/rotterdam08 I'll post a few here and there when he's afk: twitter.com/mrbittertv The only games being played right now are the ones that we didn't plan to stream in the first place. Strife > Gatored 2-0 1-1 Attero / Killer dKiller was up 1-0 over Sjow last time I checked And I'll post more as I get them. edit: And to be 100% clear The internet issues we are having are here at the venue. We need about 1.5 mbit upload, but right now we're only able to push about 600 kbits. This means laggy, spikey streams that no one wants to watch. In the interest of showing all the good games, we're waiting to see if we can get it fixed. If the delays continue to stack up, though, we might just push a lower quality stream and hope for something better tomorrow.

MLG, IPL, IEM to name a few To answer this as seriously as possible and not add to the silly country elitism flames: they are each isolated incidents. My guess on the current situation is that this particular IEM is hosted at Comic Con and because of that, there may be a lot of added stress on the internet connections of the building. But, even further, the internet in NYC sees a lot of problems just because of the density in population and the tech savvy population it hosts.

LAN would have fixed the delay we had at IPL and this one. Though I don't really care, just found your arguments bs.

So sad T__T I don't know the exact reason for this delay, but the infastructure is poor partly because, while they have big population, its concentrated in areas that are fairly spread out compared to a country like Sweden, where the population is concentrated in certain areas, but the distances between these areas is still small. I agree they should invest more in the infastructure though. If this is happening in New York of all places its pretty poor. The amount of money that is lost per year by US based companies from poor internet infrastructure is probably in the billions.
