Personally i believe the people that invented the light bulb, electricity, indoor plumbing and even toilet paper have had a more important impact on humanity. May I direct your attention to the site you're on. It's the site for Team Liquid. Do you know who Team Liquid's main sponsor is? It's TLAF, i.e. The Little App Factory. A company that makes software for Apple computers and devices. You may think that only inventions that directly increase the survival rate of human beings are worthwhile. I, and I would imagine a lot of others, would disagree. Inventions that allow us to enjoy our lives, allow us to be creative, and foster human interaction are important too. Because if all we've got going for us as a species is that we've figured out how to minimize contact with the pathogens in our fecal matter, then we might as well not be here. Regardless of how "important" you think his contributions were, they were significant and affected millions around the world, and his early passing is a huge loss in the field of information technology and consumer electronics. And making asinine comments in a thread where people are paying their respects to the departed is in colossally bad taste.

But yeah, that's really sad. Weither you like the guy or not, you had to respect his business sense and technology visions. It was expected, but quite a loss. RIP Jobs.
