Alright, so I have been not playing much of SC2 as of late, trying to diverse my palette a bit, and this very interesting game comes out, and I'm extatic! Dead Island! And it turns out to be... well it's released and feels like its just starting Beta Stages. How poor programming that game had.
This post will be short, I just want to know if I will get a game that is as solidly made as StarCraft II? Will Diablo III be that game that for me? I know the beta started for it, and I didnt have the time to apply to participate, but do you think I will find Diablo III shares that space in my heart where SC2 is?
Any word of release date? God I'm excited for the game, I kinda just wanna show my love for it :D
Another question, since Diablo III isnt the monster that is SC2, do you think it will take longer for patches and glitches to be fixed?
One more question, do you guys think it will change me like SC2 did, and I'll have to make a crazy Diablo III mix?

When it comes to PC games, few (if any) can compete with the polish and general smoothness of production with Blizzard, and I can't really say many are even trying to.

Valve games but that company is more of an expeption to any game developer rule.
Total war games have always been solid in my experience. Same goes for Civ's
Bethesda games are prett solid too :p

and it seems you didn't actually read the thread but only the title, which is really missleading, imo.
But yea, Blizzard puts alot of effort into their games nowadays and want to be sure that their games show this, while other companies like EA just rush out one game after the other, the reason? Promote the game, get people hyped and buy one after the other of their titles, but the titles suck so much most of the time that the next one is in need, there is no perfection in the games which wouldn't have such a solid esports scene and playerbase, so people wouldn't even bother buying another copy of it. How many of you bought several copies of Blizzard games? I know i have several BW copies, many people buy several SC2 copies, ofc that's forced due to the region restrictions which is really sad.

You seem not to understand how complex SC2 so I can't expect you to appreciate the fine work Blizzard done with it. It's a shame but there's many more people like you that don't give Blizzard the credit they deserve.

You say that and I nod, but then I look at the failure that is Battle.net V2.0 and am ashamed that I nodded but a second ago.
The game is pretty good for the most part but the system it is built around is a shiny turd.

As was steam back in the day. I am reserving my Battle.net 2.0 judgement for when LOV is out and the game is almost fully patched.

The last Valve game I tried Portal 2 froze everytime I opened it. I think I overloaded the memory for the game or something. Also, the Steam engine is not very responsive. It seems awkward to be running a game off of another platform.
Will try Dead Island though perhaps later today and let you know what I think.

Do you really think we can answer these questions for you?
Wait until the damn game comes out and decide for yourself.
