-The TL community is about growing, and is not your average game forum. If someone doesn't agree with you, or make an obviously flawed statement (like saying there are 300 gm spots instead of 200 in a region), there's no reason to flame all over them. (LOL DO YOU EVEN PLAY?) Likewise, admit to your faults. A simple "my bad, you may be right" does great things.

So YOU'RE the source! New posters: Don't tell new posters what to do until you have at least 347 posts.

I would expect newbies to not post as well and have some closed threads or fail in searching at the start. Even though it may be a little annoying to forum regulars, I think that's fine as they can slowly improve after a few threads get closed. I feel the most important thing is to just post politely to other people.

Treat them with the same respect you'd give someone if you were meeting them irl for the first time. This is one of the things I have the most trouble with online. Guess I just need to keep it in mind more consciously. Sometimes I'll be less-than-polite to someone on the internet, but then meet them IRL and realize they're just another normal person and I wouldn't dream of being anything but nice. It's always a little awkward at events when people walk up like "Hey you're orb, you banned me from your stream chat and called me a retard." Lollllllllllll
