Compare that to Flash at 72.1% and Jaedong at 68.0% in BW. He's achieved a 20 win streak in code S. I'm not really sure what people are expecting. No player is ever going to win every single game in every single tournament. No player ever did that in BW and no player will ever do it in SC2. That is all quite good. Without a doubt, Nestea's performances are astounding and he is rewarded with results. But when we are talking Bonjwa, we are talking about someone even better. Winrates aren't good enough and neither are winstreaks. Flash and NaDa and the other Bonjwas are not considered Bonjwas because of these statistics. Also, Flash's winrate is a % taken from a far larger pool of games over a far longer period of time. Flash has proven his consistency. Also winstreaks come and go. Flash has set records for winstreaks in individual matchups. 22 TvTs. and 13 TvPs, in his history of being a progamer. Not just these things but there's more as well. Something no player has achieved in the history of SC progaming. He has the most tournament wins, with 3 OSLs and 3 MSLs and 1 WCG. He is now looking quite good for his 4th OSL gold. He is in the round of 8 at the moment, slaughtering a hapless Protoss by the name of Jangbi. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Flash Read and see for your self, a true Bonjwa. A Bonjwa exhibits a dominating performance over other S-class players. He is the cream of the crop and basically has no flaws in how he plays. Thus far there has been no one like the SC1 Bonjwas. It's still too early. I'd say a Bonjwa could appear after 3 years of professional SC2. That's more than enough time to acquire all the accolades needed for Bonjwa status. But we'll see when we get there. I personally would love to have an SC2 Bonjwa to cheer for, but not now, not yet. If we declare a player Bonjwa too early, the title will have been wasted. The words will fall flat. I don't want that personally. In case you didn't click the link here (emphasis on the lower half): Flash holds the longest winning streak for both TvT (22 wins) and TvP (13 wins) in so called “regular games”. Flash was the top-ranked Terran player on KESPA from March 2008 through August 2009. He was overtaken in September by Fantasy. Flash has the same name as his former teammate Lucifer and defeated him 2-0 during the Averatec Intel Classic Season 1. Flash is the most successful player in the history of progaming in terms of qualification. He qualified for the OSL on his first attempt in the offline preliminaries. He has qualified for every single OSL Round of 16 since the start of his career and up until Batoo Starleague, every Round of 8 as well. Flash qualified for the MBCGame Survivor Tournament on his second attempt in the offline preliminaries. Flash has qualified for the Round of 32 of every MSL since then. Flash is the only player who defeated Jaedong on Katrina and Katrina SE, dealing him all 3 of his losses. Flash has the highest ELO record of all time, he broke ELO record six consecutive times, each were set by him. Flash is the only player to have an ELO in the 2400s. Flash had a 12 game win streak in TvZ games, spanning from the start of Round 1 of the 09-10 Proleague until partway through Round 2. His streak was broken by Hyun in a Proleague match between MBCGame HERO and KT Rolster. Flash holds the highest KESPA Point record ever, with 4,292.5 points in September 2010. Flash is the second player in history to win both individual leagues at the same time after NaDa in 2002. Flash is the first player in history to reach both individual league finals 3 times in a row. Flash is the fourth player in history to receive the Golden Mouse after NaDa, July, and Jaedong; he is the fifth to win 2 consecutive MSLs after NaDa, iloveoov, sAviOr and Bisu. Flash is currently been labeled as the 5th Bonjwa in Korea, with his latest dual starleague win, as well as with being to the finals of 7 major tournaments in a row (3 OSL, 3 MSL and WCG Korea), winning 4 of them. According to TLPD, Flash is currently the only player with a winrate greater than 70% in all of his matchups. After his 2010 achievements, Flash was nicknamed God Young-Ho by Korean fans. Flash has also acquired the nickname "Final Boss" due to KT usually fielding him as their last player during Winner's League and his strong record in that role.

LOOK AT THESE FUCKING INSANE PLAYERS I didn't even include players like Yoda, Check. Only two per group would make it out. This is going to be INSANEEEEEEEEEEE. Do any of the players I listed NOT deserve Code S?!?!?!? Them *I actually really like JYP but he still needs a bit more work before advancing to code S. Alicia might have been a little overboard as well but he hasn't looked good in awhile.

(ii) MVP is better than Nestea. Whether you want to call Nestea a bonjwa or not, I don't really care. But I do take issue with the careers of BW bonjwas being seen through rose-tinted glasses. And I take issue with you throwing around the word bonjwa like it's on sale. Who knows maybe one day we'll look back and know that Nestea was a bonjwa but it's too soon to tell as each of the true bonjwa's reign of dominance lasted as long as Sc2 has been out. Call him w/e you want but its laughable to people who actually know what bonjwa means.

Nestea doesn't fit any of those categories. Unless he starts winning ZvT against players not named oGsEnsnare, then I fail to see how he can be considered unbeatable. His ZvP and ZvZ are definitely something to marvel though, but it seems we have to wait for Nestea to crush foreigners before people label them. MMA, Boxer and co get way too much credit for inventing hellions when pretty much everyone in the gsl was abusing them. It doesn't help that Day9 is persistent that Ganzi invented mech, when it was the standard in over 90% of ladder games before it was unveiled in GSL.

On a more serious note, Huk should go post in the Nadas Body thread since he actually touched his body and can give an informed opinion.
