The mouse I have used for many years exclusively for broodwar finally gave out a few days ago. I looked at the bottom of the mouse and it is this exact mouse http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=5187-2155&cat=MOU
I own a razer salmosa which I use for everything that is not broodwar or sc2 (though I do not play sc2 much nowadays). I noticed the salmosa does not click as easily as my hp mouse, and I am very used to it. I do not know how I could possibly get a replacement mouse of the same model from the link above since I think it is not being produced anymore.
I also hear mlg does not allow ps/2 mice or keyboards.
I don't know where I can turn to to get a new mouse that is the same as my old one. Or if it is possible to get that mouse with a usb end?

Why do you care what MLG allows if you only play BW? Also, as much as you think you're impossibly attached to a mouse, if you buy a new one and use it every day you'll get used to it very quickly, unless its a piece of shit. I've said the same thing myself in the past.

I have been using the g9 for about 6 years now, for all gaming from FPS to RTS to MMO... I was in love with that mouse, and mine gave out a week ago as well... I loved that mouse and thought i would never be able to use another one again.... Well, to back-up what Artifice said, it's not that hard to change. Get one similar in feel on your hand, and I'm pretty sure you'll get used to it and like it in a couple of weeks too.

It takes me about 2-3 days to get used to a new mouse. It's not too bad! You don't necessarily need the exact same model.

AAAaaaaarrrrrrghh I fuckin hate that model of mouse ): No personal offense intended (I'd be ticked off if someone disrespected' mah collection of Ligitech Mini Opticals) but I can't stand that model of mouse, because all the terminals in the CERN Control Centre for my internship and it tracks terribly [
Look for it on amazon, I got a(nother) Logitech Mini Optical that way, pristine in box, but since both our mice are likely kinda hard to find nowadays you'll have to be prepared to pay like $30 for it.

You can buy a ps/2 to usb converter?

The microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 is very easy to click too, you might like it.

I hate those mice becuase that's the mouse for my family computer and ever since I have my own it just seems ancient ;p (cause it is) Good luck finding it. Even if just for nostalgic reasons.
