Depends. The fast SC:BW Hydra or the slow SC2 one. If SC:BW one, I'd do hydra since it'll eventually grow to be a lurker.

Zergling ftw. If not a ling, then an Ultralisk. Either would protect you for life, since Zerg units can't die of old age, and both are scary units.

Get a ling as a pet, man. Overlords are cool and all, but they'd just get tangled up in powerlines and die. It doesn't matter if your ling is missing his sibling (no pun intended), you can be his bro.
