I just want to give a quick thanks to NASL. Yes they had their rough spots throughout the season and the finals and that may be putting it lightly. But they set out with a very ambitious goal. To give us 5 games a night, 5 nights a week for 9 weeks. And they did it. It wasn't pretty at first. But it drastically improved. And thats what I really want to get across in this blog, how much NASL listened to the community and improved their product from doing so.
From the Clash of the Titans events, up through this championship Sunday, NASL received a lot of criticism. And a lot of it was fair. It is definitely the most scrutinized league out there. But the NASL really took these criticisms in stride. They listened to the community and improved their product. Look at a week 1 broadcast compared to week 9. It is way better. Look at the grand finals on Friday and then look at it on Sunday. Once again its way better. Even our favorite interviewer Lindsey drastically improved.
Are they perfect? No, of course not. There is still room for improvement. But I expect them to be better in season 2 because they got better each week. But you gotta hand it to Russ, Xeris, Incontrol, Gretorp and everyone else behind the scenes because they worked hard and made improvements.
So thanks NASL. You gave us a ton of great games and possibly the best finals in sc2 history. Keep on working and I'm sure NASL season 2 will be even better.

If they absorb the critique they have gotten thus far and sit down and really try to improve on it for the next seaosn now that htey have some "time off" I am sure it will be awesome.

Agreed. Great improvement, NASL. Hope it only gets better from here on out.

Definitely going to have the most intriguing player list in my opinion for season 2. I'll watch if it just smooths out a little more. Mistakes are understandable and I have no doubt they'll learn! Excited for the future because their visions are great!

Yes, those finals were epic, and NASL really did improve drastically from Week 1 to the Finals. Good Luck to NASL in the future, also, Gretorp is highly underrated as a caster, he has developed into a pretty good caster!

Thanks everyone who helped build the NASL. It is awesome to have a big tournament that players can try to work hard to enter. Was entertaining and fun and they definitely have my support for many seasons to come.
I just hope that by next season they figure out a consistent way on having a quality changer for the VODs. It is my only complaint about the NASL. Sadly not all sc2 fans have or can afford a computer that can do HD quality smoothly. Then there would be times where they would have a quality changer for part one but then part two had HD only so I couldn't watch it. I was able to still watch it live, hook laptop up to tv and sit back with some popcorn :D The VODs are the only thing that really bugged me.
None the less, good luck with the future seasons :D It can only get better from here!

I can't say more, but every full-length VODs since week 9 http://www.justin.tv/naslseasonone/b/289915084

:O Winning! Alrighty well I'm glad to see there was a quality changer on the finals but the titles were often times misleading. A minor thing that can be fixed. Thanks for the link :D

They're still testing the system out and trying figure out how to get it working for the cut VODs, so currently an unannounced feature.
