=====================Spoiler (kind of...)===================
You finally advanced to ODL Round 2.
That’s right, starting now, it’ll be at least another week for another match, and I can get some rest. After Proleague, I didn’t have that much time to relax; therefore I was very nervous today. Long battles can be quite exhausting. Right now, I want to get rested, recharge myself, and return to OSL. That’s where I belong. However, ODL is much harder.
Your first match?
It was my mistake. I have nothing to say about the mistakes I made. I didn’t perform well enough. I’ll analyse it further when I return to my dorm.
The losers’ match was really stretched.
I was actually prepared for a long game. Silent_Control was the same I believe. Since we both expected to have a long game, naturally, it got stretched. All of my Terran team-mates like to have long games on <815>, so I got quite used to it. I don’t really remember who had the upper-hand, who was advantageous, who was disadvantageous. I was very devoted to that game. I focused on the “next step” – what to expect, what to counter, etc. At the end, when the entire map was depleted down to the 5:00 expansion, I successfully recalled my troops to 9:00, and that’s when I knew I had won the game. I was really scared when I lost my 1:00 expansion.
Your Arbiter control was excellent.
When it comes to long game, as long as the protoss has enough resources, he has an absolute advantage. Arbiters and Dark Archons are both very good units. I was actually thinking, if Silent_Control goes BCs, I’ll MC them. If he goes Science Vessels, I’ll use Feedback. Protoss has the best spells in the game. I believe all Protoss units have a lot of potential, they are just very hard to use.
Did you specially prepare the strategy used in the last game?
Yes. After Proleague, I didn’t have enough time to prepare myself thoroughly. If I prepare for my opponent’s race, I’d have to prepare for four different match-ups (note: on different maps). I focused on the map <815> then <ROV>. The strategy I used in game five will almost always work the first time.
