The Foreigners are coming, the Foreigners are com-- wait, that is actually completely out of context. Regardless, we talk about Foreigners in Korea and if we may see more of them move to Korean teams, such as Fenix. Additionally, we look at the up-coming Code A foreigner seeds and Code A's difficulty in the October season, touch on WCG Canada -- rather, I touch on it -- and last, but most certainly not least, we talk to this week's guest, Zac "VPChance" Palmer, about his state in eSports and how he's a Korean at heart. I added that last bit, but fifty games a day sounds close enough!

      After a myriad of technical difficulties, the podcast is up! Four days late! That's what happens when you have no website to upload it to! Despite adversity on all sides, I manage to upload our discussions on 1.4 (AGAIN, sorry), MLG Raleigh's turn-out, BarCraft, deadly elevator mishaps, and more shenanigans! Tune-in and enjoy!       Oh, hey there. Remember us? We used to do a podcast n' stuff! Welp, here, have another one! We're back on track -- I know, I know, we said that last time -- and ready to pump-out some podcasts and work hard in the Starcraft community, because the new school year is about to start, and what better time, right? Yay, distractions!

      Today I'm down one cSOanemone and one FireZerg, but up one Adrian "Menkt" Fakstorp and one James "CanucksJC" Choi (of Team Liquid fame) to talk about the recent MLG Anaheim tournament and the Canadians in attendance -- dead hookers at Zaby's Motor Lodge coverage included! -- tournaments and community developments the podcast has missed in it's down time, and local tournaments these two are helping organize.

      Next week we plan to have one or both of these fine fellows -- who are great for a discussion -- on again next week to talk about the up-coming cG Invitational taking place, only with a full house hopefully, so stay-tuned for that, too. I've also updated the iTunes feed, too! Yay! Enjoy.

We heard hating on people got you hits, so we pretty much spun a wheel, picked some people, and hated on them. Also included is a terrible re-cap of all major tournaments world-wide, some random shout-outs -- because I like to do that, apparently -- a few up-coming tournaments in the Vancouver area, and no structure whatsoever. I swear to you, it'll be better next episode. Promise. PROMISE. It was just so damn unorganized and chaotic, I thought I'd preserve the essence.

The Meta-Game: Episode 7: Hate Edition

We're back in the first of a slew of podcasts before the holidays, including mid-week -- see: weekend -- mini-cast on patch 1.2. For now, though, we bring Edwin "kOre" Jung on to discuss his international Starcraft Pro-Gaming merchandiser, Starcraft Mecca (dot net!) We start with a rap-up of the Canadian Cup, go over some of the GomTV Star League Round-of-8 games, get the low-down on Pro Starcraft apparel, and introduce one of a few new segments currently in the works, the Hot Seat! It failed this episode, but hilariously so, so it's not all bad. Last, but certainly not least, we pay a small tribute to a local hero, sadly decided to retire.

The Meta-Game: Episode 6!

Wooooooooooow is this late. After Finals, three illnesses in four weeks, a website hack and a hard drive crash, I gotta' admit, I kinda wanted a break. Not sayin' editing a podcast is extremely hard stuff, but my head was... kinda' full. It doesn't matter, though, because now it's up and we're getting back on track!

We discuss many things, like our bad-ass new theme, the Canadian West vs East Grudge Match results, kind of the GSL up to, but not spoiling the Semi-Finals, and last, but certainly not least, The Canadian Cup, it's past, present and future with the L2SC.net guys, guesting in this week's episode. Shenanigans abound as well, as you might have guessed by now. That said, click the Male-Order Bride to listen to the podcast!

Episode 4! Another late podcast, but I was sick and tired, and Sam being sick as well put us on hold for a bit. As compensation for your patience, though, you get a B-side of this podcast, which I'll be putting up in a few days.

This week we take some time discussing the recent tournaments, such as the Round-of-64 of the GomTV Star League Season 2 — if we’re calling them seasons — MLG in DC and Blizzcon. Also discussed are some of the Blizzcon announcements, Patch 1.1.2 and how we’re liking it, and radio voices — something not all of us were born with, apparently. Last, but definitely not least: tree bark. Smoke-able, smoke-able tree bark. Due to lack of time and health this podcast wasn't edited much except for a little audio cleaning -- there was a recording problem -- and the customary musical cuts. Enjoy the rambling Meandercast!

It's the Meta-Game, back from the dead -- or maybe having just missed a week. We totally make-up for the missed time, though, with four eager members ready to talk our hearts out about Starcraft. Heading the podcast today we have the usual Cedric "Cedstick" Cook and Kevin "SCAnemone" Kinney, with our new regular, the one, the only, Sam "FireZerg" Prowse. Joining us half-way through is this week's guest, soon-to-be co-commentator with Kevin, Nick "Carefoot" Carefoot, who ups the podcast rating a notch to PG-16. We take over an hour and fifteen minutes to wrap-up the last two weeks, and man, is there ever a lot to wrap-up!

Today we discuss -- deep breath -- the Patch 1.2 ideas, the Starcraft Against Disease LAN, lame-ass GGs, everything you ever wanted to know about L2SC and the impending popularization of North American eSports (we hope!), the end of GSL Season One, the impending GSL Season Two, including it's qualifiers, colour commentating, Nick's body-parts (oh, dear), and much, much more.

Oh my god, it's The Meta-Game for September 28th, posted early the next morning! What's the date? Don't ask me, 'cause apparently I don't know! I digress. We have our first third chair and guest on this episode, none other than MyRevenge's newest team member, FireZerg, AKA Sam Prowse -- who has stated that he'd love to be a regular member, so make sure to let him know you want him back on!

We discuss, par for the course, the GSL, as well as Team Liquid's second TL Open tournament, the impending S.A.D. charity tournament again, Patch 1.2's announcement, the Collegiate Star League and then grill FireZerg about what he's been up to, and his plans for competitive Starcraft in the near future. We close with the most random five to ten minutes ofbanter you will ever hear. Ever wanted to go to school to eat produce and talk to a farmer about Starcraft? You may have your chance! And, yes, I realize he's the game-brain behind the show, and that's why I have him talk more on the strategy segment at the end. I'm more of the community guy. Also, there will be less pauses in the future -- I've been up since yesterday, but we had the free time and wanted to squeeze our first episode in tonight as we've been waiting eagerly for over a week to get it done.
