Is mech viable vs protoss? After all the talk about blizzards intentions and goals during the beta im hoping to see some mech vs P. Havent watched any hots untill now though so can somebody enlighten me?

Sen VS ViBE

Game 1

Spawn Locations: South West - Sen : Noth East - ViBE

Both players opening up with a 15 hatch. Sen following it up with a gas then pool, with ViBE opting for Spawning pool and then the gas.

4:10: Sen opening speed first, ViBE folowing about 20 seconds behind on it. Double baneling nests follow.

6:00 ViBE taking all 4 gas and rushing lair. Sen is opting for a roach warren, building some lings and following up with 4 roaches. Morphs a couple of banelings too. 6 more roaches following it up. ViBE taking a third while starting a spire with a small number of lings. Roaches moving over to ViBes base. Third cancelled when it's spotted. Lings and banes morphing for ViBE, spines too.

Fight at the front, goes in Sen's favour early with his banelings getting a great trade against ViBE's but he can't break the Spines. Sen has been taking a third during the fight, and is starting a hydra den. Muta production begins for ViBE.

10:00 Immediately on the way back every single roach for Sen gets caught by a full Ling surround and killed. Roach upgades coming from Sen. ViBE's lings and muta harass the third but don't achieve much. Get a few Roaches but very little eco damage so far...

As the roaches fall back to the natural for Sen, Lings get some drone kills on the third for ViBe as Sen's army has pulled back under muta attack. Third Hatchery under attack, and more roaches caught in the open but first Hydras are out now. Queens for Sen going down to Muta at Sen's natural but he holds the third at half health and mutas full back. Vibe starting 4th and has just finished building a third as well as building a roach warren. Big ling and bling round coming from ViBE.

14:20 Slow Banes hit a lot of hydras in the middle of the map. Lings move in to Sen's third and kill it and the Drones. Down 2 bases and 20 supply. Roaches being built by both. Muta harass has faded in the light of large hydra numbers. Sen caught out in the middle of the map again, losing a few roaches. Hydra support is caught by roaches and are dying to roach/muta.
