Give Sc2 some time to grow, GOMTV is taking the right steps, we just need to support them so that Sc2 can grow and really, you wouldn't pay a couple bucks to watch the top players play? | ||

Clearly not enough to cover all the cost. The reason why stuff like the MSL/OSL are free, is because the are a ton of sponsors or a one major sponsor. | ||

Maybe if something like this was done before, but the fact is a lot of people will not want to pay 20 bucks to watch live videos at 4 in the morning or 30 to watch games that have already happened. MLG was free, IEM was free, and those got huge audiences. I think it would have been much better if they reduced the prize pool by $40,000 and made the stream free, it would still generate as much buzz about Starcraft. But maybe they think they can make a lot of money by charging in Korea or something like that. | ||

I can't tell if GOMTV is the guy in charge making the decisions (in which case complaining on their forums is useless), or the middleman (in which case he can then show all our complaints to whoever is in charge). | ||
