And for poor university students just chill, there probably be one thousand youtube vods of the games and streamers at ustream and livestream will probably stream it live as well so it dont think it will be too difficult to get GSL matches for free...

If i remember correctly that stream was quite unstable and sometimes it just did not even work. If i pay for a stream, i atleast want to watch it all the time... Effect of and changes to the Terms of Service 5. Gretech reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these Terms of Service at any time without further notice. It will be regarded that the user has agreed to the revised Terms of Service if he or she continues to use the services after the applied date of the revised Terms of Service. I'm not familiar with korean law, but this should enable you to change the contract "after" it has been concluded, even without further notice; "highly" illegal under european law, violates basic law of contract which says that consensus is needed BEFOR the contract; no party has the right to amend the contract afterwards at its own discretion - never; I highly doubt this would be possible in korea Billing and Refund "4. Season VOD ticket may be effective during 'Season' and holdback period. Holdback period may be subject to change." effecitvely you try to stipulate that you can determine the availability of VODs at your own discretion; in europe that's illegal because it lacks transparancy; the user must know beforehand the service which will be provided; the amount of time is extremely important here [...] "14. If there are special circumstances where Gretech determines it is appropriate (e.g., GOMtv VOD and/or Live service is unavailable for few days due to technical difficulties), we may provide credits to affected members. 15. The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at Gretech's sole discretion, and the provision of credits in one instance does not entitle anyone to credits in the future under similar or different circumstances." so this is saying if your stream doesn't work the user has no "right" to claim a refund; again, would be illegal under european law

All the replies sofar have been facts that have happened in the previous seasons. This is a reply to you and the poster below you. Yes they did go bankrupt because of Kespa pulling their players. This isn't something i am making up feel free to go look it up. regardless i think its stupid that every one is shitting dicks about having to spend money to watch starcraft 2 games. Like GomTV said if you don't like it that much go post on their feedback section of their website, bitching on TL wont do any thing.

And we all know there are some streams from users on OGN so there is no problem since you can still indirectly watch the games although without english commentary and with korean commentary. Basically we're watching like scbw streams of OSL/MSL games which I never see anyone having a problem with. Then people shouldn't complain about gomtv demanding tickets/fees for their streams so you can watch english commentated games. It's their business and they payed blizzard a summ amount and they have a large prize pool which does mean you'll need to cover your expenses with sponsors and other things (in this case other things is paid streams among others).

Gretech have been running billions of non-Starcraft tournaments after the Classic. Don't pull random terms out of your ass. Unfortunately the Korean's will get the stream for free, and those with OGN on their TV will be able to catch it, so in my opinion, it's just a way to monopolize on a vulnerable audience who feel a necessity for English content.
