While I'm sure she's taking advantage of people to some extent, it's not exactly malicious like it was before.
its ok guys, she didnt take any headsets.
It's more about the fucking with people's emotions than the headset.
Actually.... no if I was in that position I'd be more pissed about the headset/laptop/money that was allegedly stolen. Broken hearts heal, stolen headsets don't...
lol
its ok, ill never take your headset <3
because youve made it clear what it means to you
lol.
I don't actually own a headset. But if my laptop got stolen I think I would freak the shit out, it's pretty much the only thing I can game on. My desktop has a P4 and a Gefore 4 ti4200 that stopped working properly years ago and I don't have the $$ to drop on a new one. I'd kill people to defend my baby (my laptop).

In-depth personal attacks that reveal information about somebody, like the thread you mention, get galleried. So does stuff like child porn, virus attacks, etc.

Yeah that thread was definitely galleried. Which was a shame because here is one of the example pics the guy used, I had felt a need to reply to.
I have to say the thing that most intrigues me about this forum is how much I'd love to see what the staff see for just one day. Knowing there are at least 2 completely hidden forums keeps me wondering. Maybe they're actually evil vampires feeding off the energy of banning people and are picking off those who're finding too much and just editting their post's to seem like they should actually be banned? Maybe HotBid is actually an Android AI and there are 3 of him? Maybe secret eSports documents are hidden away in the dark, plotting the end of all that there is in 2012? I wanna know!!

There are many hidden forums, but there is only 1 that I really want to be a part of. Unfortunately I am not cool enough for 15 yet. MiR would be interesting to skim through, although ive heard it is a bit of a letdown.
I suspect that most people would be disappointed by being a mod/admin. It's probably mostly monotonous with a couple of wee gems thrown in every so often.
I'm pretty sure that the majority of people who want the power shouldn't have it. Almost never turns out well. Good mods and admins for online communities are generally the ones who make it their work, or the ones who get recruited. People seeking it, or people who get "rewarded" with it, tend to be vile.

Yeah, because I'm paranoid and can't but feel some of that is being directed at my comment, I was only saying I wanted to see the hidden forums for a day to see what goes on, based on the discussion that was occuring at the time of the post. I was also mostly joking, and don't actually believe HotBid is an AI with clones.

I see... you didn't retract your statement about the eSports documents. Conspiracy theorist!

Or was it because it had the potential to explode, perhaps having negative consequences on TL?
Either way, it's cool to learn about another secret forum.

Also Ares[Effort] is actually a girl but will never admit it!
YOU ALL CAN'T HIDE IT FOREVER!!
I thought this was generally known by most users on TL? There's a reason Manifesto7 and Hot_Bid aren't around at the same time. Pretty elaborate smurf attempt - i think it was uncovered last year sometime.
Good lord there are some crazy people in this universe.
Before i reported his blog i actually clicked through his post history. This guy is either on something or just doesn't quite understand the process. His post history is hilarious =P

I think he's a 14year old kid living in the US that does not natively speak English. I didn't understand the process when I first joined too, so I'm glad he wasn't permed.
