To me, lane kka is either a support or a pubby offlane core in a dual lane. If you want the 4041 support you should be building blink greaves etc and redo the text to make it clear he's a support that focuses on long-range initiation. If you want him to build carry stuff I think you should max tidebringer. In newbie pubs where lanes are static to 7+ and people are bad at dodging the harass really stacks up. Ideally you send him offlane if you're doing this. Technically the correct safelane core play would be to go x-0-x and hold the spare points, and then dump them into tidebringer when you start shoving lane to rotate jungle. That's not really applicable for the guides though.

On November 24 2015 02:07 Sn0_Man wrote: Level 2 ult is situationally quite skippable. 100 dmg is nice true but the cd reduction is quite irrelevant and the mana cost increase is non-negligible. Plus depending on your build i'd rather be 2-4-4-1 at 11 than taking a point out of x or tidebringer (tidebringer 4 is a notable value point). I think 4-4-1-2 is just the build for core Kunkka in this version because at this point your first item is pretty much always going to be an engagement item. The times where you need extra X range on TOP of that are situational. 4-0-4-1 is for support Kunkka, I thought that was clear from the discussion before.

"Satanic ensures you can recuperate any damage receive(?)" "We rush Monkey King Bar" - not anymore. Also, I'd like to know what Flak is for at level 1.

Mid kunkka's fine, yeah. Why are you removing aghs on Rubick? It's not for every game but it's very strong, and there haven't really been any changes that make it less so aside from Rubick himself being a rare-ish pick. Doom looks fine. He's a bit of a tough hero because you can pretty much close your eyes, pick an item at random and do just fine, so his optimal build is really fluid. I would maybe say Midas to situational and add sny back into extension, but whatever really. It's doom.

Didn't want to create conflict with the other items in extension items that make more valid sense in typical games. Could add S&Y, but it was met with pushback

Basilius text has been truncated. Assault Cuirass - "Doom is always desperate wanting armour" -> "Doom always desperately wants armor" (I think; the alternative is "Doom is always desperate, wanting armor,")

my go to build for offlane doom is stout + tangoes + 2 mangoes the current cost of w is so nice that being able to pop an mango and pop it anytime feels super nice and in terms of math, being at less than full hp for 7 minutes and 40 seconds gets as much regen from a mango as a full set of tangoes, so as long as you dont take a bunch of unfavorable trades and blow your mangoes quickly, it's often more cost efficient to have them over clarities/tangoes/salves. also if you end up not needing the mana for some reason (going arcanes mek...?) you can sell it back to the shop and if youve held it for over 7m40s of being less than topped off, it's healed you as much as a set of tangoes for half the gold ofc you still need actual tangoes, which kinda go well together with passively holding mangoes because it's easier to keep yourself in safe range without eating as many tangoes as well, given your passive 2 hp/s from 2 mangoes nyx and ogre offlane (whether or not ogre offlane is legit at all is another issue) both feel really nice to stack mangoes on as well. in many cases, if the enemy safelaners cant 100-0 you, you just can't die in laning phase and you can soak up literally all the exp

You're factoring scorched earth regen into your trades and dives, so it's pretty normal to finish an altercation on low HP with scorched earth on cooldown. That means you're low for 40+ seconds unless you have a salve as well. Torte, doom is a mango candidate because he's a hero who can burn mana to trade very aggressively in lane, but who is also a physical bully who doesn't like being passive for clarity duration. Burst mana is very valuable to him and can get a lot of kills. The regen is obviously useful to him as well.
