My current starting items on Medusa: Salve/RoP/Mango/1xTangos/Branch/(slot reserved for boots)
I think this is a significant improvement over the current RoP/2xTangos/2xBranch/(2 empty slots) that floats 100 leftover gold.
Also, I would complete the starting items in the order Basi->Treads->Aquila, because it means the sustainable snake spam comes online earlier.

Starting tarting items in general could use an update imo. With the cost reduction of Stout Shield and addition of mangoes, Stout + Branch + Salve + Tango + Mango is a also a nice combination.
Many melee heroes lane guides have Stout + Branch x2 + Salve + Tangoes which floats 90gold now. (sometimes with an additional clarity).
Clock/Doom/Brew/Tusk/Bristle to name a few.

You're supposed to walk a salve out to yourself after a couple seconds of passive gold with the former. Mango might be decent on Medusa, but low levels of mana shield probably don't make the mango worth it over the extra set of tango especially given how good snake is right now.

Mango's not super great of a start on Medusa. Low level Mana Shield isn't really that efficient, plus she's not a hero that gets huge mileage out of having an extra 150 pocket mana because she doesn't have a high impact stun or something that can turn a fight. 150 mana is just 150 mana.

The standard advice here would be to fly a clarity out with your first courier usage instead of spending 150g on something that is marginally useful prior go that point especially if the mana management issue is on your end (missing your snake) vs the build's end.

If you want to switch tusk to 4pos you're looking at all the usual greaves/blink/solar/force/glimmer stuff. He's relatively item-independent if he's not planning to solokill people.
I'll take a look at the majors and make the necessary application. I always felt the Lane version was more optimal for farm/rice Alchemist

Illusions with Skadi+BFly or Satanic+BFly do not melt.
They're poor before then, but 6th item Manta Style is fine given that the only real alternative at 6th item is Rapier and not every game is a Rapier game.

I don't think kunkka mid is a mango hero since he's a bottle hero i'm pretty sure like every other mid hero. dunno about lane i'm a mango non-believer on most heroes tbh .
I'm also seriously not sold on the "first point in tidebringer at 10" idea tidebringer is your best farming skill, and the "static a lane" stage of the game is done loooooooong before you reach level 10. Torrent doesn't improve THAT much level over level (60 dmg, 1s slow, thats it) and tidebringer adds a lot to your hero combo damage too.
Level 2 ult is situationally quite skippable. 100 dmg is nice true but the cd reduction is quite irrelevant and the mana cost increase is non-negligible. Plus depending on your build i'd rather be 2-4-4-1 at 11 than taking a point out of x or tidebringer (tidebringer 4 is a notable value point).
Thing is, u max torrent if you have a teammate to set it up but then you don't need x very much, and if need to dump points into x for self setup then u can't max torrent in the first place (and really after 2-0-3-1 at 6 to combo people, your solo kill potential goes up more from w/e than q). Rarely do you need to max both (in lane).
Not sure how much sense that all made but tldr is torrent scales like ass and 4-0-4-1 is a very hard support build that i'm skeptical of.
