I cant see at work, but isn't aquilla core on him anyway? basi + stick should be fine bc the CD on his abilities is long anyway. he'll regen the mana/get up the stick charges in the amount of time it takes for spin to come off CD at lower levels.

There's really not a reason to start with a clarity over a salve on Jugg when using a Salve basically saves you the 120 mana cost of a Healing Ward while still healing more than Ward at low levels.

2-0-3-1 at 6 into Wraith > Field/Flux (you get rank 1 Field at 8, after that it kinda depends) Starting items, standard support stuff + a shitton of clarities (for low level Wraith spam) Early game Boots, Bottle, Salves (you keep 2 extra Salves all the way into mid/lategame because the clone can use Salves for free on people) Core Midas Necro3 Travels Extension Rapier Sheep Manta Travels2 Don't play this hero as a core. He controls the river as well as Techies early game so you don't want him farming a lane to waste that. It's impossible not to get farmed as this hero due to double Midas shenanigans.

Pushing Arc Warden can go Necro 3 (with ult; makes double the necro book) Ganking Arc Warden can have more utility items (Eul's/Dagon/Atos, etc.) edit: the more I look at it; the better it sounds to have the two builds completely separate styles.

And no, AW *always* goes Midas Necro3 unless DotA 2 changes how ulti interacts with item CDs.

If we don't put a mid-version and another person does despite it being generally 'unrecommended'; we lose out. Creating a second "version" much later is a harder task (see Lina - Middle, Alchemist - Middle and Leshrac - Middle [most took over a year to gain momentum and are still not in-game]). I'd rather have a proper "unrecommended" way to play a hero and improve it until a patch makes it viable than fight from the bottom after initial hype and reference. Not making a guide doesn't send the right message that it isn't recommended, just unavailable.

If you really insist on making an AW mid guide then just copy-paste the support one cuz it apparently doesn't matter whats on it, you just want it to exist.

That is actually almost entirely what I have been doing from around mid-2014 and with each subsequent release of a new hero [almost] Alchemist Ancient Apparition Beastmaster Bloodseeker Dragon Knight Earth Spirit Elder Titan Ember Spirit Gyrocopter Kunkka Legion Commander Leshrac Naga Siren Nyx Assassin Oracle Phoenix Shadow Shaman Skywrath Mage Silencer Sniper Slark Tiny Troll Warlord Ursa Warock Weaver Windranger That's a lot of mid heroes; some were good, some were never good and some were made when the hero was released because we wanted to snag it in case others did (and others did do it; such as Oracle - Middle). Some Mid guides we removed: Tusk, Phantom Lancer I'm just covering our options, generally what happens is that the guide gets the ratings, but most of the users subscribe to the right version (Phoenix Lane as opposed to Mid) and if not, we can always just swap them. It's more about ensuring control of all possibilities for the future and against other guide creators who aren't consistently updating when they should be.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=391462018 -- Winter Wyvern Middle guide. 10 minutes after I posted our own guide. These pop up and they take away literal 100,000+ of users. It's preventable, but it means sometimes doing unrecommended versions of guides and then scaling back. edit: We'll draft up an 'ideal' AW mid and ultimately decide if it's worth pursuing when he's been fully revealed (pre-release). I have a mid-Pit Lord that is evidently not ideal, but for the same intention.

Also, found a mid-version of AW: http://www.dotafire.com/dota-2/guide/arc-warden-a-definitive-guide-9162 Not amazing, but nevertheless.
