(E) To put this argument in perspective, Sn0-man represents the voice of experience here and I represent the unskilled masses. He argues for the correct skill build for high skill pub play, which involves heavy jungling, which gets better by delaying the first point of Q. I'd argue that players in my bracket would almost universally misuse the build by not jungling, in which case Q is needed at a lower level. WEEQ is the high efficiency high level version, WEQQ is better when playing inefficiently, and WEQE represents the 'compromise' build that functions at both levels (but for different reasons).

Someone is always going to find a way to screw it up. I think WEQE is a reasonable middle ground, with a note on W that it allows you to jungle in between ganks. It's not an optimal build in many situations, but imo it's also the least likely to be a complete failure, and that's the best you can do.

Is it normal to take 3 and 4 E at 10/12? I never feel like they do much at that point compared to the extra snare time from Q.

Moon Shard may as well be removed from Slardar. You don't buy it any more often than you do on any other carry. That is to say the only time you'd ever consider one seriously is if you're 6-slotted and need to get some stats without selling an item.

I'll remove Slardar - Moon Shard No, but considering items like Ring of Aquila, Quelling Blade, etc. Which have seeped into recent builds and can still help with items needed like Diffusal that's still Core or Drums that's core.

IDK how QB didn't get added when people told you a while ago that pretty much any safe lane melee carry can use QB.

Drums/diffu is really niche these days. To me, it's for games where you're ahead yourself but your team fed and can't hold till radi, and that's a pretty unusual situation for a hero who lanes as badly as spec.

Im pretty sure everyone who follows these guides isnt dumb enough to build both of them but still seems kinda odd to have them both there, could be just hotd on core and no vlads at all (maybe something else then, dunno).

Another example of this is BKB core, Pipe situational on Centaur. For the most part you're not going to buy both.

Correct; it serves the purpose of either replacing a core item, being bought between core items or between core and extension. usually it's indicated via textbox or simply the price is a strong indicator of when to consider it.

Okey seems fine then, i guess i have made myself thinking situational items work more as a follow-up after core vs. certain situations rather than being items that can replace core.

Can and should are completely different tabs in a guide. That and Ring of Aquila are equally possible as well.
