Rubber dome keyboard, not mechanical. Doesn't have the clicky sound and has a mushy kind of tactile feel, which is not what we're discussing in this thread.

that keyboard would suck anyway do to the small backspace key. I seriously don't know why keyboard manufacturers do that.

I just got this keyboard and it feels pretty amazing, although it will take some time to get used to but im already liking it. Now, to use NKRO I need to get a USB to PS2 adapter and use the PS2 input on my motherboard? Also, how hard are these things to clean compared to conventional keyboards?

wish they would ship to aus

Correct.
Cleaning isn't bad - there are dedicated key removal tools you can get (from Elitekeyboards & elsewhere) that will help you remove keycaps carefully; in a pinch, paperclips work too. Any key larger than standard by more than a little (shift, space, etc.) will have stabilizer bars- you pop off the keys carefully with your tool and then move it to one side of the bar, up and off. There are videos on youtube.
Compressed air works fairly well though in my experience. Popping the keycaps is an occasional thing.

Are there any retail outlets in USA where you can purchase this keyboard? Or just via newegg website?
|
You can buy it on Amazon through the Rosewill seller, but Rosewill I believe is the NewEgg in-house brand.
Though at this exact moment, I think they are out of stock.

Oh ok, no physical stores? thats what i meant.
I'm going to be in the states soon but very briefly, and would be much easier for me to just pick it up at a store.

I just got this keyboard 2 weeks ago and it's amazing. I had to RMA because a squeaky back space, it's picky but if you pay 100$ for a keyboard it should be perfect imo. Anyway, it is so good that the week I had to wait for it to come back during RMA period I did not even boot up my computer lol. Did not want to type on that shitty keyboard ^^ so I used my laptop instead.
If you are alone during most of your computer usage I would definitely recommend getting the rosewill!

I just got this keyboard today and it is fantastic, mine also has a squeaky backspace key, but I think I am going to give it a few days to see if it stops.

My mech keyboard initially had a squeaky '5' key, but i just fiddled with the keycap a bit and it never squeaked again O_o.

fiddling with the keyboard is pretty much the solution to any problem you might have with it.
I spilled an entire cup of coffee on my keyboard and after washing it a couple times a couple keys didn't and some were sending multiples clicks.
My solution? for the ones that didn't work I just kept hitting them, the key not the whole board. And the ones that were sending multiple clicks had something to do with the angle or some shit idk but i just pressed really hard with a screw driver on the back of the wafer where the base of the switch pokes through and for w/e reason that fixed it.
but yea don't lose faith if you fuck up your mech keyboard lol, just keep abusing it until it works.

Let me tell you... I wish I had gotten this board over the Steelseries g6 because the right shift key is small on the g6.

I was going to get this keyboard, but it was sold out. might get the Rosewill now.

lolz I just think the Rosewill mechanical keyboard will piss my girlfriend off when she comes over. I already know my pissmate (we share a bathroom that's it) probably hates me.

On eBay theres a seller that sells primarily DuckyKeyboards.
http://myworld.ebay.com/duckykeyboard/
I found him on Geekhack or something like that.
