What are the people who are advocating it saying would be the benefit? eh, faster expansions equals more chances of conflict = more fun. I prefer LoTV. hell would be more interesting if they actually decreased the amount of minerals and gases in the LoTV model.

honestly I don't understand how can anyone prefer WoL/HotS economy to LotV I mean, they can try, it's their private thing(This has nothing to do with actual GSL) but I see no benefits to it

Well all that's changing is the amount of minerals and gas per base (which increases). I don't think that will be that difficult to adapt to for them. Or even that different.

But don't know what to think about the ressources rollback ... so you really can't compare it to other LotV games and tournaments ... makes it a very low significance which race is stronger ![]() But will be fun anyways. Just don't see why they choose Maru as Terran Player. In the recent weeks he hasn't really shine. Unlike other terran players like aLive for example. Hey Maru and aLive almost equal against eachother I think. Every series they've played has gone to the last map? Unlike say aLive vs Innovation. (at least they didn't choose ByuN)

Well, the most key difference will be that they can mine from their main bases longer than in regular LotV. So the 3rd/4th bases might come down later. Also delaying new bases will be slightly less impactful. But that should be just about all that changes if the mineral/gas counts are brought back to HotS level.

No, timings will be exactly the same. As far as i know they will only change the ressources per base and not starting workers or macro mechanics.
