1.st its TL the most unrelevant source... 2.nd he is right... its gona banne 10 - 15 minues of making problems and 3 bases and than another 10 until someone moves out...
If they rollback the economy it will be nail in the coffin for lotv...

Using HotS resources withouth changing the mining efficiency of workers is pretty bad.
I don't like the LotV economy, but it's better than HotS.
Well, this is just a fun event, so whatever.

LotV economy is a band aid but still better than the 3base cap and infinite 2b all in of WoL/HotS. Would have love them to tweak with worker count and/or units instead.
A tournament in which every TvZ starts with a 2 rax into a macro game would have been fun haha

Can't wait to watch protoss wreck because they have unbeatable comps
Love your tears

Rolling back the amount of resources at the bases is pretty silly. All I believe it will do is change how fast you have to take your 4th. If they wanted to do a more interesting change they should revert the initial worker count.

aLive should play for terran. He's probably better than Maru and TY atm.

Agree with this but when they want to try it in an official event it seems like the KR community/pro players are in favor of it..

Nice!
But don't know what to think about the ressources rollback ... so you really can't compare it to other LotV games and tournaments ... makes it a very low significance which race is stronger
But will be fun anyways.
Just don't see why they choose Maru as Terran Player. In the recent weeks he hasn't really shine. Unlike other terran players like aLive for example.

sOs is so smart to realize this show match even don't offer any money.

I personally don't think a stronger economy has anything to do with "turtle games".
Bomber (Bio) vs scarlett (zerg) is considered to be one of the most action packed and intense series in SC2 history.
Taeja (Bio) vs innovation (mech) is also known to be one of the absolute best games played in SC2. One of the most amazing TvT's people ever saw in SC2.
Meanwhile we also saw flash literally splitting the map iron fortress with mech against Curious. That was a game that some people enjoyed a lot and others didn't.
Some people enjoyed it because both players displayed extremely strong macro game skills, other's disliked the game, because it took some time for the first engagements to happen and everything was just much slower than we are used to it from bio and other faster races or playstyles.
All those games got played on the same economy.
So i highly doubt that economy has a lot of impact on how the matchups are getting played. I'm convinced that you can have more action packed games with stronger economy too.
In my opinion a stronger economy simply allows for greater comebacks and overall for more stability in a macro game.
In LotV we often see "Macro games" end after like 10 minutes average. One guy usually loses 20-30 worker and then the game is just over.
I think we had turtlish games back then, because some races or playstlyes simply weren't good enough designed.
We all know it, protoss either all inned with gateway or had to tech up before taking additional bases.
Mech's midgame used to be much weaker in hots and vipers hardcountered every attempt to move out, that's why mech terrans started to turtle into a raven/BC deathball. It's just obvious.
Why would you risk getting crushed by vipers and ultralisks, if you can simply stay at home and get the right units first.
If you would've reduced the ressources back then, the games would've been the same with the exception that people would've died after their first bad trade.
Swarmhost/raven would've been the same even with reduced ressources per base. Sure the games would've probably ended earlier, but the games itself would still be boring swarmhost vs raven games.
Bad designed unit interactions create turtle games, not a strong economy.

Which is exactly opposite version of this show match, getting paid by doing nothing.
