- Nony has been a great contributor to TL throughout SC1 and SC2
- Nony has been very open in his blogs about his success in SC1 vs SC2 and his state of mind around the time he switched to SC2
- Nony, like millions of other people mentally struggled through part of his life and took a break from games he loved to find himself and really get control of his life and happiness
- Nony is a legit great person and treats everyone around him really well
If these points aren't good enough to be excited about a member of the Teamliquid family, then you're missing the entire point of this website.

I'm hyped to see it and I hope he pulls it off.

Wow I haven't followed Nony since, like, 2012? Wonder what he's been up to (besides drinking Permafrost Vodka).

Whether he manages Blizzcon or not doesn't matter to me. What matters is that he is trying to do it.
We all know how difficult his journey is going to be, and there are many skeptics (albeit with good reason). But its the journey that is most important. Even if he bombs or doesn't come close to qualifying, the fact that he is trying is the most admiral part.
Given the opportunity to try for Blizzcon, would any of you do it knowing the road will be riddled with difficulties? That is why I am happy to hear Nony is back on the horse.

Some people forget that Nony was very strong during SC2 WoL beta as well. It's good that he's going to play again.

To straight things out.
I've heard of Nony as I watch the scene since wol. My point wasn't to attack anybody. I checked tl bw/sc2 sites, 5 noticable places in bw tournaments, some ro's in sc2, googled to find out he was once suspended while being in teamliquid, and was just surprised. What's the big deal about that he's coming back.
Now I know a bit more, thanks to some who actually cared to response in a normal manner instead of dropping link to bw tournament that happened 7 years ago.
And I'm happy as usual that some people still come to this game and try, with it's current state as we all know it. I would LOVE for Naama to comeback, finals vs mana on that first dh were awesome! Comparison was just to point out my point of view.
Cheers You say that, but you came into the thread pretty heavy. We could thank you next time to inquire politely first rather than: "shots fired" in your opening comments. Perhaps a less confrontational approach would more quickly garner you a more informative response.

Hmmm...pretty excited for this, always liked the guy even though I came into the scene long after BW. Never could stand rooting for a toss though.....

That's really nice that people are setting long-term goals for themselves but is Nony going to be full time with this endeavour or is he gonna do this in addition to having a regular job if he has any? I don't think it's even close to being feasible that at an age of 30 someone wants to be top 16 in such a competitve world where everyone else is full time...

Nony was and still is my favorite foreigner; I still remember his Courage run. Amazing.

So we still have that thing were anyone who isn't Korean is a "foreigner" eh?

This is awesome! I really hope he makes it!

Happy to see your return NonY - Been reading your blogs and excited. Even though you stopped before I started watching you have always been held in high regard by much of the community. Good luck!

WOW Tyler! This is great news! I wish you all success, hope you achieve your dream.

I hope he uses the negative shitters in this thread as motivation to do well. Anyone who can do what he did in Brood War has a huge shot at doing what he wants to do IMO.
