I don't have the slightest clue on how the betting bussiness works, but wouldn't Pinnacle be able to trace back the source originator who skewed the betting line?

Seriously though if you have zero idea what is happening probably best to keep your opinion to yourself. Especially if you say "sounds like a big mistake" meaning you don't even have knowledge of the game. See? I'm considerably more intelligent than yourself.

Lots of other people confessed. Savior was the point man for getting players to throw games, so it was pretty easy to nail him. He denied it for quite a while. Also, there were suspicious games, coaches getting wind of things, and the whole thing was blown off by a Kespa and government investigation.

Also, does anyone know how this looks in the Korean media world? Are a lot of people talking about it?

I'm absolutely sure they have the IP where the bets were placed or what have you. But this is a BIG organization we are talking about; they aren't just going to publicly declare who the person placing these bets is.

After the last episode, everyone knows Pinnacle will voids such a betting where immense amount of money throws immensely the lines just before the match. So, we can guess either : -an error (related or not with matchfixing guys ) -Some wanted to void the bets ? -other ideas ? I'd imagine Pinnacle is only one of multiple places you can bet on proleague.

He switches games more than once (switching and coming back) He is more vain then other players (wearing the huge white glasses just as an example) His playstyle in sc is charachterised by extreme greed or extreme agression. He is a obviously a guy willing to take huge risk and gamble and I would describe this style as somewhat spongy. He is here and there, always somehow on the edge, but nothing substantial, fundamental, settled or restful. If I had to pick a player in PL from whom I was thinking that would most likely be capable to betray like that, I would pick MarineKing, not even considering the game we have all witnessed.

He certainly takes this video game very seriously, even more than other gaming professionals. He is also one of the only players I know that publicly complained about betting and corrupt sponsors in the Korean scene. yeah sure he wants his attention. didnt he start off his career with the name of slayers boxer? later he was called Foxer for Fake Boxer before changing his name to MKP?

These guys spend so much time perfecting build orders to a T, but when it comes to match fixing, they can't even pull it off without it looking ridiculously suspicious. Like MarineKing should have just used the Reapers to beat away at the Spine Crawler, and appear to try to do well, but end up doing a sloppy job all game. Then no one would have questioned his play. Assuming that he indeed matchfix, that he would do it wrong doesn't surprise me in the slightest tbh. First of all, it's MarineKing, he's always been nervous and shit, which probably hindered his ability to analyze how he should make it look. Additionally, if he attacks the spine, let's face it : he wins. ByuL's on one base, he has no speed, no bane nest, against a 2 OC Terran, soon to be 3, his cheese failed, there's a high chance that he GGs straight up.

No. Seeing pool timing and no expand, marineking knows 100% its proxy hatch. The only reason for him not to scout for it is because he doesn't want to find it.

There is manipulation in almost every sport. Yet I still hope that it's been the most epic blackout in SC2 pro history.
