I'm not even trying to be controversial... Six titles compared to two. I rest my case. You people just can't stand that anyone who has a WC3 background is streets ahead of anyone who has a BW background.

Polt is Captain America are you mad?

The first 10 minutes of a game are hardly macro only every single game. Sure it happens, but there's often a lot going on before it. You need to pay more attention if that's all you see. Maybe I'm biased as a hardcore viewer, but I don't see it at all that way. Could we use some more mid game action? Sure, and I think LotV is moving towards that a bit hopefully. The games we have currently are far more interesting than they were in 2010 and 2011.

Starcraft isn't anywhere close to dead. To all the unreasonable children on the internet if you are not the number 1 E-sport in the business then the game is dying/dead. Even if SC2 spends the rest of its life span as a niche E-sport compared to Mobas, CS-GO and fighting games, who cares. As long as there are enough sponsors and people watching that tournaments continue to run the game will not die. People want to compare E-sports to real sports well look around the world and there are smaller sports that have leagues and continue to be successful enough to operate and provide enjoyment for the fans that do care about that niche sport. I mean there is a National Lacrosse League in the United States which is a sport at least 90 percent of the country couldn't give a damn about ( and that is probably being generous). They don't get much TV or press compared to the other sports but guess what, they continue to provide entertainment for the fans who do, there is nothing wrong with settling for a smaller role in the community. That is not to say that SC2 doesn't have its problems, but I'm tired of people being over dramatic all the time about how the game is dead just because other games draw more people. You don't have to be on top to exist as a competitive game.

Er scheint ja nicht mehr wirklich aktiv zu sein, war schon immer recht faul und die Teams haben sicher nicht einfach die Kohle über, einen inaktiven Spieler zu bezahlen. Sorry, I was alt-tabbing between two forums. User was warned for this post

In terms of excitement I'll just mention that I watched the whole Boxer vs. Rain match and loved it. I actually watched a handfull of aweseome matches on Metalopolis even though everyone was bitching about that map. I just wish people would pull that stick out their arses and come up with shit instead of bitching.

But since all the players bitch about every map that isn't macro friendly to the fullest viewers get bored because nothing is really happening for 10-15 minutes. Try not watching PvZ and avilo games! All terran matchups are pretty fun even pre 10 minutes these days, PvP is also up there sometimes when the greats are playing their tight aggressive macro games.

Try not watching PvZ isn't great advice. I don't ever watch Avilo because I think he's a massive cunt. Yeah I get that he probably plays a persona but he's so believable in that role that I hate him, too. Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread any further. Imo Sc2 got really boring and I explained some reasons why I think that way. GL HF ![]()
