Pretty sure he renewed his contract recently with EG and is moving to their team house in cali. Also since he'll be on the west coast with what I'd imagine to be really good internet he'll be able to play/practice on the Korean server still. Also, he won't have to worry about traveling so much to events when he'll be in the US for WCS NA and any other tournaments in NA.

He did say though in his interview that before he retires he'll rejoin a Kespa team and participate in Korean tournaments.

At least in Dota, there hasn't been a single successful SC2 -> Dota player switch yet. Select and Babyknight played a bit but both weren't very good.

Don't know about LoL but most of the sc2 players who tried ended up going back. Like MarineKing, sC etc.

Agree, I also think Dota and LoL are harder than sc2 in terms of what is required to make it onto a professional team. Sc2 you can learn it and practice it become a pro quite fast in comparison to the moba games where you have to learn the mechanics, team strategies, and skill cooldowns of every single champion etc... Going from a single player game to a team game is a huge leap, and unfortunately every single sc2 player who has tried to make the transition has failed.

It's very hard to improve in moba's when you hit a wall, because you can watch replays and analyze your gameplay and not notice your mistakes and end up blaming the team, whereas when you watch your sc2 match you can instantly see the faults and improve on them.

I can't see any pro players switching to LoL or DotA as they will feel they are too behind to start learning it now.. There is already a bunch of sc2 players on heroes, IdrA being the main example.

Did he get kicked out of the team because he wanted to play competitive SC2, while EG expected him to transit into casting / tournament hosting / stream raging like the rest of the team?
