Aren't the foreign (ex-)pros doing exactly that? They're migrating en-masse to Heroes of the Storm because they have become irrelevant in SC2.

If given a choice, there is no doubt that many would chose BW or WC3. SC2 was the only remaining viable option to remain relatively financially viable, and here again, Idra is to be congratulated for being one of the very few that was 100% honest. Not that it's a bad game or anything, but many, many pros view it as inferior to those 2. Sorry for getting of topic.

No. IMo they migrate to moba games cause SC2 isn't creating any fun for them anymore due to the punishing gameplay and frustrating stale metas.

I hoping EG will, in some way, reinvest in SC2, but my gut tells me they won't.

Select and Babyknight played a bit but both weren't very good. Don't know about LoL but most of the sc2 players who tried ended up going back. Like MarineKing, sC etc. I think most foreigners will switch to Heroes of the storm because everyone starts on even ground there.
