You beg to differ the best players are Korean? And one retired broodlord infestor abuser is your evidence?

man if sOs were to take this, he'd have made $200,000 from this and Blizzcon in only a couple months. How crazy would that be?

thought jjakji was european not american..

inb4 jjakji eliminates taeja in the first round

I'm confused as to what you are saying and the purpose so I won't respond to this O.O... Just going to point out there are NOT 6,950,000,000 foreign players and there are a number of reasons why Korean are dominant and it has nothing to do with inferiority or superiority of race or nationality...

It is a shame SoulKey, JaeDong or Innovation weren't invited over sOs. They each had better collective years than sOs.

Oh God....Naniwa is the only foreigner......WIN THIS SHIT !!!! go Nani !

Considering they are the very best, it is a good thing for SC2. If everyone, meaning even inferiour players, were able to qualify over korean progamers, this would show some heavy issues with the game/unit design, as inferiour players should never be able to win that game against a better one. Sure, thx to cheese &co. it is possible to take of maps, but not tournaments from better ones. So seeing only koreans(besides: nani) is fine by me, it also improves the quality of the games

Simple. agree - though more mixed nations would also be fine, at least as feeds or something. World championship in every other sport means, every nation can send players to the playoffs and players of one nations cannot get to other qualification rounds if they fail at their initial ones. Imagine soccer world championships where only Brasil will play... Or, if we are talking about 1v1 Sports or leagues where u have to qualify first: pingpong, tennis etc. Or: In Formula 1 only Finnish drivers are allowed to drive (because the Championship per population ratio is highest for the Finnish people)On February 10 2014 09:54 Waise wrote:Show nested quote +On February 10 2014 09:41 GoodSirTets wrote: thought jjakji was european not american.. i don't think the qualifiers were region locked no, they weren't. Agreed, Stephano was to me very well known to abuse one single tactic, and it was not broodlord infestor. Anybody watching him play ZvP probably knows what it was.
edit: I wonder who dares to show up to the open bracket of Katowice. :o

Didn't know HE was the one that abused Winf+GGlord to the max. In fact every TvZ, PvZ lategame looked like this, especially by koreans. So why Stephano the abuser? And: Stephano developed his Roach-maxout in 2011 and very soon after it, he developed some other strats. Also made Hydralisks work again etc. Now he abuses Swarmhosts a lot in GM (unfortunately he doesn't play progames anymore)

Don't know how much I can trust this site considering they botched Fatal1ty's earnings for one thing. I literally had to do no more than take all the numbers from his Wikipedia earnings page and add it all up, to see that they underestimate it by a good 10 grand. And that's just Wikipedia, which itself is incomplete (and I've been able to find more tournament earnings not listed there within a couple of minutes).
Just saying yo. Fatal1ty is easily the most monetarily successful in terms of tournament winnings, he's made well over 500k, of course not counting any other deals, salaries, sponsorships and endorsements, of which he's also had plenty. ^^
