Yeah I actually feel like overall this is a big nerf to Terran, and that is fine with me since I play Protoss.

Protoss Stargate openers are better in PvT, and with detection from Oracles and Photon Overcharge, I should have no problems with Banshees.

Zerg gets Spore Crawlers anytime they want too in HOTS...

I still feel like the right choice here was to slightly nerf Speedvacs and remove the Bio tag from Hellbats.

cool changes overall

now hopefully well see more of those 2-basesque biomech allins vs protoss with banshee, raven, marines, wm and hellion, or even 2 base banshee play vs zerg (maybe blizzard should make it so spore crawlers gain 10 second build time without evo chamber?)

either way its still going to be just beta for now so these changes are relatively small and reasonable and seem implementable
the throws never bothered me anyway

Hellbat was a horribly designed unit. It's okay to have it nerfed. Also, I would have liked to see the Banshee unit itself get buffed instead of cloaking. Cloak is a semi-bad mechanic which doesn't really add to "skill". Blizzard is clearly incapable of making any changes with depth.

It will be sweet to see more cloak banshee play, and Terrran can always follow it up with Hellbats if they want

As a Terran I haven't even played SC2 at all since the S1 finals because TvT went from my most favorite to my least favorite matchup almost over night. Hopefully Marine/Tank becomes viable again.

I like these changes. We'll see how they affect balance in the long term, but at least they look promising - and without changing too many units.

I don't see hellbat drops that often on ladder and I am in gold

But I hate dealing with cloak banshees more than hellbat drops

The base hellbat damage is still way too high, they shouldn't be able to fight marauders, roaches, buildings etc. head on but it's better than no change at all. The banshee buff is completely unnecessary, if anything banshee should have less HP...

I feel like mines are more the issue than hellbats. They function a lot better than tanks except for really large or really small numbers.
