it's an ok idea but it won't change too much.
It buffs the soultrain and i guess drop options against terran will be better but i'm doubtfull it will work in the way as intended.

PvT needs better changes really, it's still just an defend vs drops then a-move game, basically at every level. The warp prism definately could use a small buff but I had rather seen a small oracle buff instead.

I do like it for PvP and PvZ. PvP robo vs robo is pretty much void of drops because of the nexus cannon, now this option might see the return of some immortal drops.

The mindset is still wrong though, if only they would give some nudges for mech vs protoss it would be great to see that actually getting some play. Why don't they just do something like giving the thor high-impact load bonus damage against mechanical/shields, that way you don't mess with TvZ at all and make mech be able to counter air a little bit at least.

Inbase robo

All of which requires different amount of bunkers and/or turrets, addons and marine positioning. The only real way to block prism gate all ins is to shoot it down right as it flies in, except if it's faster it's harder. And that's not even considering what happens if it's an expand build with either light harras or greedy tech.


wtf 4 gate on 2 gasses? and is it hard to scout around for proxies after couting pylons? it's not hard at all to guess right, and you have a reaper which is a pretty good unit to scout his main too.

i guess this is the equivalent of medivac boost? now only need mutas to fly twice as fast as well

pvz winrates in korea are around 60% in all hots and pvt looks pretty balanced as well, wtf is this?

Sounds like you need to scout more than just two gases. Like maybe several times during the opening to confirm what the protoss is doing.

PvP is going to be exceptionally fun with immortal drops now.

Every time I use the warp prism I think to myself "damn, I wish this were faster" and every time I get the speed upgrade I think to myself "holy shit speed prisms are so good."

This is going to be awesome.

edit; as for TvP scouting, I guess this might kill the gasless expansion into fast 3rd CC, time to reaper expand safely.

Just like free siege tech created a ton of new all ins for terran against zerg and protoss? Or was that ok because it buffed terran?


Siege mode change only helped defending.It's not like you can make 2 tanks and go.They are useless,you still need support units which require time to build so the timing of the push is pretty much the same.

probably because protoss has trouble actually winning tournaments since their wins are based off of build orders that end up getting figured out. This build order emphasis is due to the fact that many of their units are not very microable, so they have to look toward perfecting builds to get an advantage. This speed change will allow for more standard play from toss, meaning better tourny results.

I like the change for the lategame, but toss is already so allin, I'm very hesitant about changes that might boost the effectiveness of any of them.

Edit: But I still don't think this will change the core problem with toss, which is simply warp gate(and to lesser extend sentry).

I don't understand, Immortals are already immortal in normal warpprism all ins. Also so many gateway all ins directly into your main with force fields on the ramp soon. But hey let's test it, why not I guess. They didn't got through with the borrow change either. But if this goes through, it will only result in more all ins.

Edit:
I'm sure you guys have been seeing this too, but we're noticing Protoss slightly underperforming at the highest level of play especially in Korea and Europe


I guess Blizzard does not watch ProLeague.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

well technically zerg got a speed boost for mutas. Not a huge one but it has made them much more prevalent in all matchups.

us battle net forum seems worst forum on world ... all the cry and "mimimi p is strongest" ... its a TEST map and people cry before even testing it ... its not even a patch its not in the game its a testmap and instead of playing it and give blizzard data if thats good or not NO they just cry before its even into the game i hate such attitute

its an esport game and if in 3 regions of the world together there are 2-3 protoss in the top16, blizzard thinks about changing it, because no one want to see only mirrors
