Isn't Proleague pretty protoss dominant? Last I checked, only players that were up there on wins that weren't protoss was Flash/Innovation. Although the current protoss style is too turtly, and at least the change does open more opportunities for aggression.

So it's Blizzard trying to break the deathball again Speedvacs, vipers, and now speedprisms

Speaking as a Terran who absolutely hates warp prism play destroying far off bases... I am all for this

It could save PvZ from becoming the horrible turtle fest it has been threatening to do ever since swarm hosts got popular.

Yeah, because having free WP speed in all those Immortal all-ins will make no difference whatsoever.

Interesting buff, would much prefer the return of Khaydarin Amulet to be honest
|
Terrible idea.
This would only buff the protoss early game and toss doesn't need stronger all ins. 100/100 is a small investment after the 10 min mark anyway.
When i look at the best protoss players i feel that they just play bad if you compare them to innovation/flash since they don't use the warp prism at all late game when in theory protoss is able to harass much better then terran players.
I mean how ofter do you see players fly around with 2 warp prism late game? That would wreck most of the terran players.

I'm sure you guys have been seeing this too, but we're noticing Protoss slightly underperforming at the highest level of play especially in Korea and Europe
I disagree with this statement. Consider all the protoss players that have qualified for Code A and are making ways towards Code S. I'm pretty sure by the time OSL starts we'll have a rather racially balanced Ro32. And to top things off, we have "PvProleague"
Sure, no protoss has won anything yet(closest so far is Naniwa 2nd place at Dreamhack), but I can't blame the Code S results for Protoss on balance. First up, going into the season, Protoss was already heavily underrepresented in the Ro32. Then roughly half of the protoss players dropped the ball and played incredibly poorly, getting knocked out. By the time we reached the Ro8, there were two protoss players left, sOs and parting, and they just ended up getting outplayed by their zerg opponents.

will colo drop harass finally be a thing now? Well at least... a thing which more than just white-ra does

Yeah, because having free WP speed in all those Immortal all-ins will make no difference whatsoever. Just like free siege tech created a ton of new all ins for terran against zerg and protoss? Or was that ok because it buffed terran?

Yeah, it won't. At all. How the shit will speed prisms affect Immortal all-ins? You use them for picking up Immortals, or warping in units (if you're bad and didn't place a pylon) so how is speed supposed to make a difference here?

As a meching Terran this change scares the hell out of me.

I like it, protoss sucks now

I'm glad zerg has so many powerfull anti air functions to deflect this.

If you're going to buff the warp prism, at least nerf HTs or Colossi so Protoss units can't just choose to clump and send small units out at a time... I mean, TvP is really hard as it is for late game, so please don't just buff early game Protoss without making a slight weakness in their late game.
EDIT: A less whiny version of this is that if Protoss early game is actually going to be buffed, can we make them less dependent on Colossi/HTs so it's not just going to be a powerful Protoss through out the game. Besides, the Warp Prism speed buff will definitely help Protoss late game as well, so why not weaken late game Protoss as well.

Somewhere, in a dark room in Seoul, LiquidHerO pets his Dreamhack trophy and smiles.

Nice! Now the warp prism will have about the same average speed as a medivac (when you average the boost and normal). Seems like they want to make it fair. I approve.
