as a protoss i should be happy for every buff. but all i see here are stronger 2base allins. the units the prism transports are just too bad for harrass

protoss already has insane harassment capabilities.... oracles, dts, about a million 1 and 2 base all ins that if you don't scout and prepare for perfectly you die. warp prism already got that huge shield buff and are already pretty damn fast. Making them any faster will just make protoss more user-friendly than it already is.

if you really wanted to make the match up more interesting rather than a 20 min macro fest with 1 big battle at the end, you would encourage terran to be more aggressive. Right now with MSC, time warp, photon overcharge, warp in, and force fields, terran can't be aggressive at all. the only aggressive build terran has now is when they pull all of their scvs and attack at ~160 supply right before storm finishes.

Because the Warp Prism is a gateway unit and a core unit in most protoss compositions, just like the zergling is for zerg, yes?

On-topic: I'm cautiously optimistic about this change. Protoss has a lot of harass potential, but most players have grown so used to playing the turtle style that they refuse to try and change their styles up. Understandable, but quite sad. This might be a push in the right direction.

I like the idea of more harassment. It does become awfully fast with the upgrade though, so it might have to be toned down a bit.

Still, as a viewer of tournaments, I welcome this change.

(Less importantly, as a diamond terran player, I'm kinda scared about this change.)

Sounds like a cool idea.They said they want more action early-mid game.

I just hope it doesn't buff early rushes too much.

I like the idea behind it and most allins right now are limited by the speed they get robo units at, so this could end up being rather balanced. I'm sure we will see some hilarious videos of 2 immortal WP drop killing unprepared people :D

The all-in potential is rather dangerous with this buff. Having fast Prisms out too early might make them too strong in some timing pushes, which may unintentionally be bad for spectators if these timing pushes are too strong or happen too much. I like how the unit encourages good multitasking, but there must be some other way to buff it instead of giving it a free speed upgrade.

I personally want to see Oracle acceleration (not speed) looked at since the unit controls weirdly compared to other air units.

I'd really like to see a buff to sentries to make them valuable to make mid-late game. I just don't think this warp prism speed buff will change anything, mainly it won't give any options to Protoss they didn't already have.

While I like the idea of immortal drops zooming in and out doing massive damage and all... flying units that move incredibly fast are obnoxious. Next thing you know, Protoss will be doom dropping with warp prisms. Not sure if this change would actually help Protoss in the way they are hoping.

Would have preferred a buff to the Twilight->Templar tech path instead. Robo timings are still really strong, and Stargate play seems to be doing okay, while Twilight tech, while not bad, would be a change less likely to affect early timings (as long as the change isn't to blink research). Maybe reduce the cost of Templar Archives or researching Storm.

Im toss and i love it but if it begin to be too imba i think it would be a good idea to keep the max speed but reduce the acceleration so more micro would be needed :D

I think the problem with protoss is the ability to be aggressive without it being an all in... maybe the warp prism can help in this regard??
