It's just an idea, but you should try running a unit preloader (like this one: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=359043) before playing and see if that improves the situation? I suspect it actually won't, since you're saying that you get this lag every game, and if it's the cache not containing the assets it needs, I would expect the lag only to happen for the first game you play (or the first against each race, since you won't have the SCV models loaded if you played a PvZ first). Also, for #34, blizzard now says: "Fog of War is not rendering properly on GeForce 6800, 7300 and 7600 cards." So probably there are even more NVidia cards that have this problem. http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/5071347656 | ||

Yes, I have a second monitor to the right, but I was focused on the game and "confine mouse cursor" was set to automatic in windowed full screen mode. This "automatic" setting seems to be new (I don't remember it before), but according to the description, the problem I had should not happen. (I have switched it to "on" just in case the bug is only present with the automatic mode) Note: I had this exact same problem happen when I was using the 1.5 beta a few weeks ago. | ||
