Also, the game feels a bit laggier when I played it against AI on offline mode this morning. It stutters a bit more than it usually does pre-1.5. And I do agree that the layout does look a bit sloppy and rushed now. However, the importance of improving the custom game interface, which was the big purpose of this entire patch, is not to be underestimated. Custom games were the lifeblood of BW and WC3, greatly elongating their lifespans at no cost to the customer or developer. Custom games will be vital to the lifespan of SC2 as well, and hopefully this revamp of the interface will help the UMS scene develop to it's full potential, especially with all the support Blizzard is giving to its powerful Galaxy Editor.

Here's a workaround: 1) Select larva(e) that blocks the hatch placement 2) Make any unit 3) Cancel the egg (get money back + no more blocking) The only downside by doing this is you don't get to keep any larvae that were in the way. I think it would be 'gamebreaking' only if you were stuck unable to make a hatch until the larvae were killed by other units or lack of creep

Actually this will detract some people from playing ladder because the 1v1 screen is no longer advertised as soon as you login; people who aren't thinking about laddering can now ignore that portion of the game entirely. Also the extra click, while seeming somewhat trivial on the surface, does make a difference for people who are less interested in 1v1ing. Consciously it might not, most people will probably tell you it doesn't affect them, but putting that little bit of extra time and effort of buttons to click and pages to load will subconsciously change people's perception of laddering at least a little bit, it will be a little extra annoying for them, and so oncce again those who are just that little bit less inclined to ladder may not bother with it anymore. /endrant Oh yeah and on a completely unrelated note, I just noticed the Antialias button in the video options, from memory this wasn't there before as I had it unclicked and would not have if it were always there. Might be worth testing/seeing what effect it has on the graphics & framerate.

When I watched a replay , my upgrades were not showing up on my units. ie. I had +1 armour , yet when I selected unit , it read 0/0/0 (protoss).
