Only large patches that modify the client files enough to make the client unable to run properly before the patch has completed require actual patching in the traditional sense, but even there only the essential files are patched first, the rest is downloaded and applied while the player is in-game. It could be that Blizzard has adopted a similar technique for SC2 patching. They definitely aren't streaming any data to the client. They took the servers down, updated the server's library, and put the servers back up. Maps that rely on melee data pull the library from the server when you play them, but if you look in the editor the data is now outdated. I imagine that they'll patch the client on Tuesday, but why rush to change the game instead of waiting to patch? And if they don't patch on Tuesday, I don't like that they're unsyncing the server's data with the client's.

Are your strats that gimmicky that a faster moving overlord and a queen that can shoot a bit further suddenly makes you a shittier player? If that's the case go play LoL. If queen range doesn't affect your TvZ at all, that means YOU are the one playing shitty TvZ lol.

Exactly.. reapers are going to be hit hard, and no are the 3 marines vs. 1 queen off creep kiting, etc.. Idk how Queen .vs bunk building SCV or anything will play out.

Since Terran tend to lose lategame if you don't rely on cheese in early-mid game, I feel race is a bit screwed.

Well Maybe now it wont be so strong now that hellions and reapers, reapers especially, play almost no role in any terran game anymore :D
