EPTFor the anonymous tournament, we have 16 players that signed up and have been playing each other under assigned names. None of the players know who each other is, nor do they even know who signed up. I'm the only person who knows who has signed up and who is playing each other.
The prize pool is $200
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $50
3rd/4th Place - $25
Part of the fun of this tournament is
A) Seeing how the players perform when they do not know who they are vs
B) Trying to guess, as the viewers, who you are watching playing and
C) I'll be revealing the players at the end of the tournament, what their guesses were about who they played, and comments about the players/games. I will also be conducting interviews for winners of the RO8 that will be played for the viewers post tourny.
At the end of the tournament I will reveal who all signed up, and the viewers will also be able to submit guesses of which players are which to try and win a little bit of pocket change themselves
The round of 16 games will be cast
Monday October 20th, 8PM EST and
Tuesday October 21st, 8PM EST
Round of 8 will be cast
Monday, October 27th, 8PM EST
Semifinals and Finals will be livestreamed
Sunday November 2nd, 3PM EST
Production value will be a bit low for now, or...nonexistent. But it's something we're working on adding and improving behind the scenes as we go :D
