just kidding. Supreme commander has a similar variance of missile launchers and artillery vs tanks dynamics that works well, it's just weird that we might see this in SC2.

Why should I care about casuals? They can still make a good game for everyone with an esports focus, they aren't mutually exclusive. This is TL, not the Bnet forums.

Fitting. It's huge, destructive, and an obvious display of Protoss superiority to the lesser races. I don't want to see swarms of protoss air units capable of winning the game with some zealot ground support. Let me sum it up like this: I hate the idea of the Tempest and will do/say anything to ensure that it dies before arrival. Keep the Carrier, the phoenix isn't a BAD replacement for the Corsair, and Void Rays are infinitely more useful than Scouts ever were. Also (unrelated to my response to the carrier bit) why not just give the Viper...oh...idk, an ability that we already know works and feels very Zergy...like...CONSUME.

Maybe they should try vultures, spider mines and tanks that actually do damage to protoss units. I don't get the desire to make a bunch of cartoony units when we've had vultures and mines for so long.

It sure feels like their development is a dartboard of bad ideas

Sounds like they didn't expect terran to be fairly compelte or something, figured that was the idea behind the first one being called wings of liberty afterall. Tempest sounds a lot better, a useable tier 3 siege unit sounds pretty awesome. I hope protoss gets something else now that the ditto is gone, maybe reaver and remove colossi? One can only dream.

We could even look at the ghost change, and how incorrect that was. Blizzard set out to reduce snipe verse ultralisks and brood lords. But instead, they reduced the ghosts snipe verse almost everything in all matchups except high templars. If they said that the ghosts versatility was to strong and wanted to nerf it through all matchups, that would be okay, but thats not what they said. The point I'm trying to make is that they are trying to insert units with extremely specific roles without looking at it throughout all matchups. Which is bad.
